"Girl, you're looking sweeter
now you got it every day, girl
Wish that I could love you now
In a special way."

Outstanding by The Gap Band was blasting loudly through the radio of Ricky's van. It was a Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania, A city the gang had to drive through in order to reach Indiana.

The windows were rolled down so the summer's breeze could blow.

The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot.

The weather was nice.

Everything felt lovely for the gang of misfits. Ricky, Angel, Michael, and Abhaya were all trying to focus on the things that weren't so significant, like how the sky was mighty blue today. All of them were trying to take their mind off being only a mere few hours away from home. All four of them were inwardly nervous about coming home because none communicated with their parents throughout the entire trip.

And yes, they were technically "adults," but that
still wasn't going to get these four off the hook.

Abhaya's forehead rested against the windowpane
as she stared out into the open fields of green grass and a few cows. She softly blew her breath against
the window, Foggin it up before using her pointer finger to create a heart, only to wipe it off and repeat the process. Michael, who was on the left of Abhaya, was watching her with the most adoring eyes.

What was happening to Abhaya at the beginning
of her and Michael's very complicated relationship
was now happening to him.

He was now wholly infatuated. Completely in love.

"You light my fireI feel alive with you, baby
You blow my mindI'm satisfied."
