Abhaya stared up at the ceiling in her room with
an empty mind. All of her thoughts were just blank.

She didn't want to think much because when she
did think of something, it was always Michael and those thoughts made her weep.

She had on all black in preparation to Michael's funeral that was about to take place at Chapel Grove.

She didn't want to go. She didn't want to see
Michael get lowered to the ground. She didn't I
want to see people putting flowers on his casket.

She didn't want to say goodbye to Michael.

She would have nothing left of him if she said
goodbye today. All the things that she had, all the things Michael had ever given her, she got rid of them in an angry rage. She regretted that. She regretted telling Michael that she hated him.

The main thing she regretted was telling Michael
how she wouldn't cry at his funeral if he were ever to die. Every time she thought of that, she felt so sick.

She wished she could go back in time, but she couldn't.

She couldn't do anything but reminiscence about the past, sulk in the presence and wonder about the future.

It was hard for her to imagine a future without Michael. It was easy to imagine Life without him when he was alive but now that he was gone, Life didn't
make any sense. A few knocks were placed on her door before it opened. Jillian walked in with all black on.
Her eyes were puffy from crying all morning.

"Sweetheart. It's time to go." She said.

"Mom...I can't. I can't go."
