I don't know how much longer I can go on.
I feel like I'm dying.
Every movement, every breath is excruciating.
You spent every waking minute away from the shop on the ocean floor, the comforts of the water helping ease your suffering ever so slightly.
You didn't know cold could bring so much pain.
It was agony. There wasn't another way to describe it.
Soon-ja kept electric blankets on you constantly as you struggled to get through your work at the shop.
Every morning she would be standing outside waiting for you, her face mirroring the same amount as pain as yours with the added element of worry.
"It will pass" She would whisper to you as she covered you in blankets, "It will go away soon."
You couldn't bring yourself to believe her.
