Jack ,and unfortunately, Hans, stayed all through the evening. Kristoff came by around 5, but not for too long before he had to leave. He had to smooth the ice at the rink before the next show at 7. He made sure Anna was alright there with Hans and that if she needed anything, call him. After he left, Anna went back to the lounge where everyone else was sitting silently.
"Wanna play a game?" She suggested.
"Of course!" Jack jumped up.
"Which game?" Elsa asked.
Anna shrugged and looked in the cabinet under the TV. "Scene It, Cranium, Pictionary, Charades, the Wii; pick a game, any game."
"I vote Pictionary!" Jack raised his hand.
"Everyone else okay with that?" Anna asked.
Elsa nodded, Hans shrugged.
"Okay then! Lets do it! What are the teams?"
❄❄❄
They drew from a hat for the teams: Elsa and Hans, Jack and Anna.
Hans and Anna were up first. They had two 24"x 36" white boards on easels. They decided that after 3 single rounds, they would cheat and just have an all play, where both drew at the same time. They decided to start on that. Whoever won got their single first.
Anna wiped her hands together, ready to beat Hans. Hans looked like he could care less. They both looked at the card and Elsa flipped the timer, "Go!"
Anna scribbled on the board. "Bird! Plane! Dog?" Jack guessed.
Hans took his sweet old time. He didn't try to do it nicely either. "Umm," Elsa pondered. "A horse?"
"Camel!" Jack yelled.
"Yes!" Anna screamed. They high-fived and switched places.
Hans sat next to Elsa, "you could have tried a little harder," Elsa said.
"I was trying, Ice Queen."
Elsa gave him a look of disapproval.
Hans put his arm around her and she pushed it off. "If I try harder, will the Ice Queen be less cold to me?"
"I doubt it."
"I just lost my motive then." He leaned back.
Elsa sighed. "Fine, if you actually try, and get us a few points, then maybe."
Hans shrugged and put his arms behind his head. "I'll take what I can get."
"A skyscraper!" Anna said excitedly.
"Yup!" Jack erased the board.
Elsa drew a card and the timer was set. Before 7 seconds had passed, Hans guessed. "Helicopter."
"Yeah!" Elsa said, mostly out of surprise.
"How in the world did you get that out of an oval?" Anna looked shocked.
Hans shrugged. "Just a guess."
❄❄❄
The rest of the game went like this, Hans never missing a single one. Jack missed a couple of Anna's, mostly because she was no artist. When All Play came up, Hans and Elsa got it every single time, except once; Jack was just to quick and artistic for Elsa. The game ended 17 - 20.
"Yes!" Elsa said. Hans just smirked casually beside her.
"How in the world did you come up with the answers before 10 seconds were up?" Anna was baffled by Hans.
"I have a few older brothers. You learn pretty quick to strive for perfection."
"Impressive," Elsa had to admit.
"Was that a compliment from the Ice Queen?" Hans thought such a thing to be impossible.
"Just one, don't expect another."
❄❄❄
Hans and Jack left just before 7. Jack had work at the ice rink and Hans had the curtsy to leave and give the girls some privacy.
Nothing really happened after they left though. Elsa and Anna talked some, then went to bed.
❄❄❄
Tuesday morning came and Elsa woke to the sound of someone walking around downstairs. She looked at the clock which read 6:28. Her eyes widened in terror. Who would be in their house at 6:30 in the morning? It could be Hans. Or maybe Jack, but why so early? Elsa quietly got up and looked out her door. She could see partially down the stairs, but the lights were out. Surely if it were one of the boys, they'd turn on a light. Elsa tiptoed into Anna's room. She went in without knocking.
"Psst, Anna!" Elsa whispered. Anna didn't move. Elsa shook her, "Anna! Wake up, wake up, wake up!" She hissed. Anna rolled over and drowsily opened her eyes. "Did I miss breakfast?"
"What?"
Anna snapped awake. "What?"
"Never mind, there's someone downstairs!"
"Probably Hans," Anna went to roll back over but Elsa stopped her.
"At 6:30 in the morning? In the dark?"
Anna sat up. "What?" She looked at the clock on her stand. "Why would he be here at 6:30?"
"That's what I'm asking you," Elsa answered.
Anna flipped the covers off and quietly walked to the door before quickly running back. "Whoever it is is coming up stairs!" Anna grabbed Elsa and pulled her into her closet. Both girls shimmied to the back where they were completely hidden by clothes.
The mystery person first went into Elsa's room, but didn't take long in there before moving onto Anna's room.
He, or she, or it, came into Anna's room and looked around before leaving.
"Did you see who it was?" Anna asked.
"No, there's a mountain of clothes in front of me!"
Anna crawled out of the closet with Elsa behind her. "It's still in the hall," Anna whispered. "It's coming back!" Elsa could hear it. Elsa dove back into the closet and Anna under her bed. The thing came back in and started sniffing. Elsa could hear it was going to the bed where Anna was. Uh oh!
Just then the phone rang.
