Vim rushed throughout his body as his heart raced erratically, pounding aggressively against his ribcage. His bloodshot eyes leaked as hot tears trickled down. He rushed, almost tumbling to the ground as the lift doors parted, revealing the familiar hallway. He wasted no time in getting to Mason's room, his eyes stinging and throat dry and raspy.

The hallway leading to his room seemed to elongate as he trudged further onwards. As soon as he reached, he plummeted through the doors with full force and almost suddenly, his feet froze. The sight was depressing. There laid the only man he had truly loved, half dead and hooked up to a heart monitor which beeped regularly but they both knew it wouldn't be for too long.

"Mason" his voice shook gravely as his feet picked a slow pace, taking short strides towards the bed that accommodated the dying man.

Mason's head had fraily turned towards his direction. He had grown pale and almost lifeless in just a matter of days since his last visit. His lips had barely parted into a weak smile when Colton clung tightly to his right side.

"Sir" he let out a crooked chuckle through trying breaths making Colton heave slightly and release more drops of tears.

Mason stared with sheer adoration at Colton's side which was glued to his own and Colton knew that was his cue to deepen his hold. The mere trace of longing for what they used to have in both men's eyes appeared to make their current position so much more passionate and everlasting.

Colton stood there, hot tears waiting in his eyes and fully willing to let them feel the love they once shared at least during his next few breaths.

"Baby boy" he breathed through the familiar pet name and it erupted a small sparkle in the dull green eyes staring up droopily at him.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words from you" a sheepish grin managed to form through the weakness and all but it was all quick to fade in only a matter of seconds.

"It's almost funny how their games are playing out" the stated coldly and Colton didn't miss his words neither did he miss the stone cold venom laced in them.

"What are you talking about?" Colton pulled back a bit, a brow risen in question and he released a dry laugh in response.

"Can't a dying man ramble?" He joked darkly, erupting several more questions within Colton's confused little mind and most importantly, denial.

"Don't fucking say that, you're not dying" even as he spoke, he couldn't help but doubt his own words. He wouldn't make it, at least that's what the doctor told. With his illness he'd at least had a chance but with the added food and water poisoning, his seconds were ticking.

Mason then sighed dryly, turning his head towards the machine he'd been wired up to.

"They said it was substance poisoning" he mumbled, seeming to widen the distance reflecting in his glossy eyes.

"It's all just for show, baby" he spoke, still facing and studying the several green spikes of the monitor with teary eyes.

"Mason" he slowly returned his attention back to Colton who had a prominent pout on his quaking lips and questions hovering in his head.

"What else would you expect me to say, those monsters are the reason for all this..." He trailed, his eyes shutting as well but Colton didn't make much of it since the monitor was still audibly beeping.

"The nurses, the doctors they're all part of this sick game..." Mason rambled on and it was beginning to scare Colton.

"Mason" he managed a rigid tone but it came out croaky and wary.

"Who knows, maybe they'll actually spare you after you finally make him yours..." It was then that the monitor began to show signs of flat lining but Colton didn't seem to notice as his eyes remained fixated on the drivelling man.

"It's all just a game..." He paused, gasping a deep breath.

"And they have all the cheat codes" at that moment, his chest stilled and the beep of the machine lingered on with a flat line.

He was gone...

.....

"What's wrong with my sir?" Acker sucked a deep breath, letting his eyes fall on the stiff man who was staring lifelessly out the window before answering the boy over the phone.

"What do you mean your..uh nevermind...he isn't feeling too well" He told, still watching his friend whose head remained against the tinted glass.

"Just relax and watch a movie or something, Ray will bring you dinner" he spoke, inserting his car key.

"N..no I'm fine, it doesn't hurt as much um.. please make sure he gets better" the soft voice bore sincere worry and Acker could tell. It wasn't long before the call ended and both men were already on their way to Acker's.

Back at the Penthouse, S laid on Colton's bed, his lower lip between his teeth and his heart heavy. He wondered if it had something to do with him being angry before leaving for work that morning, or maybe it had something to do with him. Whatever the reason was he just hoped Colton would pull through from it.

It took about an hour before S finally willed himself to get up from the bed. Even with the whimpers of pain and groans, he managed to get on both feet, taking a second or two to adjust before finally taking steps.

Slowly, the approached the bedroom door, reaching out and holding unto the wall for a little support. It was just now that he wondered why he ever begged to the man to go rough on him.

Several minutes past and S had just finished up his dinner. It was nothing too much or too filling but he wasn't complaining. He had plated up his portion before settling on the table to eat.

......

Dishes were done, Colton's bed was made and cum stained sheets were washed but the boy still wasn't feeling the least bit sleepy.

"Maybe a movie..." He suggested inwardly, remembering Acker's words from hours earlier.

He bent over the little shelf just below the TV and a little white CD caught his eye. He reached for it, studying it closely. It was blank but something rang in his mind to play it, probably his curiosity.

He stepped back a bit, now approaching the player. He inserted the Disc and walked back to sit on the couch where the remote laid. Instantly, he pressed play.

A strange man appeared on the huge screen but what proved to be even stranger was the fact that he was on his knees, his head was down and he had both arms behind his back.
