Sanada awoke to find Gideon gone but soon heard the shower running and relaxed. Looking to the night stand on his side of the bed, he saw that it was only 6 am. He sat up as he waited for his Mate. Checking his phone, he saw a call from an employee, Kenji Nakamura. Even though all of his staff had his number, this was the first time that someone actually called him. Setting his phone back on the nightstand, he would return calls later on in the morning. Right now he needed to focus his attention on his new found Omega. Gideon walked back into the bedroom. She had braided her hair again and put on pj's. Crawling into the bed, she moved next to the Alpha, who immediately wrapped her in his arms. He started nuzzling her neck as she let out a contented sigh.

"How do you feel?"

"I'm still tired, what time is it?"

"A little after 6 in the morning."

Gideon whimpered and laid back down, she cuddled against Sanada and promptly fell asleep again.  Sanada laid down with her and pulled her close as she snuggled into him even more. Her dad wasn't kidding when he said she would get clingy.

Sanada awoke to his phone ringing at 9:30am. Looking, he saw it was Okada, he quickly answered before it went to voice mail.

"Jun?"

"Toru, how is she?"

"Sleeping, she got up to shower around 6, then crawled back into bed."

"Is she laying next to you?"

"Yes, I've had her next to me since we got to the hotel room."

"Good, were you two able to talk?"

Jun could hear Sanada release a long and deep sigh.

"She's my Mate Jun. There's no longer any doubt. She... she let me scent her last night."

"..."

"Jun?"

"I'm here...what did she do? Did she hurt you?"

"No. Jun...her eyes changed colors though. A normal Omega's eyes wouldn't do that."

"I know, she needs to tell you that part Toru. How is she really doing?"

"She's been sleeping a lot and clingy like you said. Her scent is just barely noticeable again. She had masked it after we scented each other, but it came back during the night. I plan on keeping her inside today. I'll get something delivered to eat when she wakes up."

"Good, don't get alarmed if she sleeps most of the day."

"Yeah, she said doing the scent thing took a lot out of her."

"She did more than just the scent thing, didn't she?"

"I don't understand what you mean Jun?"

"Did she use her teeth on you?"

"Yeah?"

"Well Toru, that means she trusts you enough to mate you."

"What?"

"It means that she trusts you enough to let you mate her. Before that happens, we need to talk. Understand?"

"...Understood."

"Good, listen. I'm telling you this for your safety and hers. Do not let anyone in the room until her scent is gone, she'll let you know when that is. Second, don't get intimate with her, that's for your safety."
