"What do you need me to do Jun?"

Hearing that Gideon's mom was back, Sanada wasn't sure what to make of it. He knew she wasn't fond of her.

"When she wakes, ask her to call me."

"I will Jun."

"Ok, well Toru, welcome to the family officially! Take good care of my girl."

"I will, talk to you soon."

Sanada was getting hungry but didn't want to leave her side, he knew as soon as he left she would cry out for him but he needed food. He also thought he should get her to eat something. Luckily, the menu was next to the bed. He placed his order and got something for her to eat later, making sure they knocked and left the tray outside the room.

Going back to his phone, he was getting ready to check emails when his Mate began to stir. Placing his phone down next to the pillow, he turned his attention to her fully. Slowly she set up, holding the bedsheet to cover herself.

"Hey babe, how do you feel?"

"Tired what time is it?"

"About 10:30, are you hungry?"

"Yeah, I need to eat something so I don't get any weaker than I already am."

Gideon moved as close to him as she could, resting her head on his shoulder, her hand caressing his side. Rubbing her back, his free hand lifted her face, her striking grey eyes staring back at him. He brought their lips together, the Omega no longer resisting or breaking their kisses, she allowed his lips to dance lovingly over hers. His tongue seeking entrance, it was given as the kiss deepened. The two sharing a deep and passionate kiss for minutes.

"This is nice." The Omega softly spoke.

"What?"

"Laying here with you, like this."

"Yes it is, I've waited a long time to have this. I'm never letting it go."

Gideon began to purr again. Sanada chuckled.

"And why are you purring now kitten?"

"Because I'm happy, Alpha." He kissed her on the head.

"Gideon?"

"Yeah?"

"I talked to your dad earlier." She set up and looked at him.

"I know, and I'm not talking about her right now. Besides, the food is here."

Sanada looked at her, he heard a knock at the door.

"Spidey senses." She smiled at him as he shook her head. "You can go, I'll be fine."

Sanada grabbed his robe and went to the door to bring the food in. Stepping out into the living room, it felt cold and sterile without his Mate's scent. Pushing the serving cart back into the bedroom, he left it near the side table.

"Stay there." He motioned for her not to move as he went back to the hallway to grab the bed tray that were left by the door. He wanted her to stay in bed, at least for today. He set everything up for her as piercing grey eyes followed his every move. She made sure the bedsheet was wrapped securely around her. Now they could eat.

"Thank you Toru."

"My pleasure baby."

After they had enjoyed everything, Sanada removed her tray and placed the dining cart back outside in the hallway. He decided to return to bed and went to get in with the robe still on when the Omega suddenly growled at him.
