Gideon woke about 30 minutes before the alarm went off. She took another hot shower to help with her nervousness and got dressed. Nuzzling her mate to wake him up, she made sure he had his jacket as she grabbed his extra hoody; she thought if things got too bad, she could wear it to help her calm down. He woke up fairly quickly and hoped in the shower. She double checked that the last of their clothes were packed and everything was out of the bathroom.

"Hey Toru?"

"Yeah babe?"

"Will you scent this hoody for me?"

"Ah! Yeah, I meant to do that but forgot. Place it in the backpack in case you need it."

"Mn."

The Alpha put the hoody on and released his pheromones, Gideon gently nuzzled into him while he did so. Then she realized something.

"Oh Shit!" She looked at him with a panicked look on her face.

"What! You're not going into heat are you?"

"No! I just realized my eyes don't match my passport!"

Sanada had to laugh at her. "It's ok babe, just tell them your newly mated."

"oh.." She blushed out of embarrassment.

"You're getting nervous about the airport, aren't you?"

"Yeah..."

He kissed her on the forehead. He removed the hoody and handed it to her. She placed it in the backpack on top so she could grab it quickly if she needed to, the clothing she had on was loose and dark colored. She had her hair braided simply. She was trying not to attract attention but that would be impossible.

"Hey, let's leave now, maybe it won't be so crowded."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah." Sanada was trying to make flying back to Japan the least stressful as he could.

Gideon gave the place one final check and felt she had everything. She double checked their travel organizers and was ready to go. Making their way to the lobby to check out, she still clung to him. It was early and the place was almost vacant. He felt her relax just a little bit. There was only one front desk attendant, an older lady. Walking up to the counter, Gideon handed her mate the room keys. The Omega avoided the woman's glances as best she could. They were only charged for the set of sheets they were taking home. Gideon smiled at the woman and thanked her, the two locking eyes only briefly but that was enough for her to notice the Omega's eye color.

"Oh my God...You're a Prime!" The older lady couldn't help but start to coo as Gideon quickly averted her gaze and moved closer to her Mate. The lady noticed she had made her uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry dear, it's just, I haven't seen one of you since I was a little girl."

Gideon gave her a quick smile as Sanada finished signing things.

"Thank you for everything ma'am." Sanada and Gideon bowed then quickly left for the car. Once inside Gideon exhaled and looked over at him.

"This is going to suck ass..."

He rubbed her back to try to calm her down, but he could feel her anxiety starting to grow.

"I'm here baby, it'll be ok."

"I know, let's just get this over with so I can finally go home." She gave him a weak smile.

Taking off for the airport, he held her hand the entire way. There was hardly any traffic because of the early morning hour and they made it to the airport in no time. Finding the car rental return was easy. Unloading their bags, they returned the key at the counter; the attendant trying to catch a glimpse of the Omega as she stood behind her mate. Even though the trip was pleasant, the actual airport was another matter. Gideon let out a soft whimper at the amount of people there so early in the morning. Taking a deep breath, she let her Mate know she was ready as they made their way to the ticket counter. She let Sanada take care of the bags. The ticket agent wanted to check their passports also, which Gideon figured she would. The agent asked Gideon to step forward to verify her passport. As she did the agent noticed her eyes.
