Don't mind me, just got my heart ripped out and stomped on just a little over 24hrs into the decade. I first learned about Cam, Jaden, Marcus & Mikey in the summer of 2017 during their time on Boy Band. Truthfully Marcus, Mikey & Jaden were some of my favourites throughout the show and I've been supporting them ever since.
When I first found out they formed a band, I was over the moon & just super excited about it all. Like 4ish hours ago, Marcus announced that the band called it quits (Mikey had left earlier in 2019). They had cancelled their scheduled tour in 2019 after releasing an EP which kinda sucked but they weren't coming to my city so I wouldn't have been able to go regardless.
From then on, they were pretty much MIA on social media in regards to their band account and mentioning anything to do with it. I definitely could feel a break up coming soon but it still took me by surprise because none of them said anything for so long until this video came out.
I'm overall just super emotional cause I know they're gonna do some sick shit in this decade but I'm also hella bummed that I never got to see one of their shows or meet them. They're one of my favourite bands, maybe just cause I saw their whole journey starting back in 2017, but I really am just full of so many thoughts and emotions so I had to let it all out.
If you actually read all of this, you're a real one & I totally appreciate it. Anyways I'll stop typing now since I'm sure most people didn't even get one paragraph in but definitely go listen to Would You Know by them because it's such a beautiful song and it stems from some pretty sad but real moments (explained in the pic below).
