Peeta's PoV:
The door peeled open to reveal Effie. As she turned her head full of bursting and vibrant colours, she screeched.

"Annie! My dear!" She said leaping forward to embrace her in a hug.

She pulled away, with Annie smiling.

"Come on in." She said, gesturing to the kitchen.

"What are you doing here?" She asked in a polite manor when walking to the kitchen table.

"I'm here to celebrate Katniss and Peeta's wedding. You told me, do you remember?" She said.

"Oh yes, but I never thought to invite you! I'm so awful!" She said apologising.

"I'm feel so terribly terribly awful!" She said.

"Don't worry about it!" Annie said giggling.

"So how's Finn? Isn't he gorgeous." She said.

"He's brilliant. Cheeky though." She said, with Finn bouncing around in her arms.

"Just like his father." Effie said, making us all smile.

"Rose and Finn will be the best of friends." Annie said.

"Where's Haymitch?" Peeta asked.

"Just at the hob getting a few things to eat." Effie replied.

We nodded.

It was lovely to catch up with Annie and how she had been. To reminisce the love and respect we had for one-another.

We weren't all happy. Annie was not happy.

I butter into the conversation.

"Guys, can I say something?" They nodded.

"As my father used to say, you don't have to be happy all the time, just content with yourselves and those around you. Content."

They all agreed.

We made our way back home with Annie staying with us.

Me and Peeta traipsed to bed, as Annie was heading to her room.
I climbed into bed, after settling Rose in her room with Finn.

I rested on Peeta's chest feeling his heartbeat slowly thud at the action of every breath.

"I can't wait for you to be my husband Peeta." I said.

"I can't wait for you to be my wife." He said.

Following that, we fell into a long sleep....
