Mother nature decided to bless them with numerous warm, September days. Allowing Jennie to spend each afternoon on the hospital patio.

Jisoo agreed to help her when she asked. After a few days, Jennie was walking unassisted. They sat at the patio table.

"You're gonna get me in trouble you know," Jisoo smiled.

Jennie took a bite of her cheeseburger, "I'm sorry, Jisoo. This is so much better than hospital food."

Jisoo laughed lightly, enjoying the fast food lunch she smuggled in with Jennie. Until her thoughts wandered again.

It had been three weeks since Jennie woke and still no memories of her. Their marriage. Their son.

"Hey," Jennie softly called and reached Jisoo's hand across the table, setting it atop her.

Jisoo's eyes quickly lifted to hers.

"Jisoo, why are you sad?"

"I'm not," she tried for lightness, failing miserably.

Anything can bring back her memory. A face. A scent. A date.

The doctor's words from the beginning echoed over and over.

What harm will it do? Jisoo asked herself.

"My son," Jisoo told her.

"I'm sorry," Jennie offered. "Is he the reason why you're here?"

"He's not here, no." Jisoo didn't want her sympathy. "I miss him."

"Where is he?"

"With my family while I take care of my other family here," Jisoo told her. The truth-broadly.

"Do you have a picture?" Jennie asked, barely containing her excitement.

Jisoo retrieved her wallet from her pocket.

Please don't let this be a mistake, she prayed.

Opening the photo she carried Jinwoo, she handed it to Jennie who was waiting patiently. She watched her wife closely as she took the wallet from her, bringing it closer.

Jennie smiled as she looked at the smiling faced looking back at her from the photograph. Her finger traced along his chubby cheek.

Jisoo watched her study the picture. The silence lasting forever.

"Jennie?" Jisoo softly called.

Jennie's gaze lifted to meet her. "He's beautiful," she whispered.

"He is," Jisoo agreed, looking for any signs of stress or recognition. Neither.

Jennie looked back at the photo. "He has your lips," she said.

Jisoo opened her mouth to say something when she was interrupted, "Jisoo!" Roy's voice called to her from the door.

"I'll be right back," Jisoo told her before rising and walking over to her brother-in-law.

"What do you think you're doing?" Roy demanded.

"She asked-"

"The nurses are fit to be tied over her fast food lunch," Roy told her angrily.

"Oh my God!" Jennie's scream had them both racing to her.

"Jennie," Jisoo called at the same time Roy yelled, "Nini!"

Jisoo caught her just before Jennie collapsed to the ground. She carried her wife through the corridors to her room.

Nurses surrounding her bed as Jisoo set her down.

"What happened?" Doctor Lee demanded as he approached.
