Every second, minute, hour, day and week... for almost two months I work on my body like a madman. I've always loved sports but I've never worked so much for a role, a character. I've let my beard grow, and my hair. I want this role, I want to see it through and most of all I want to work with HER.

I still have no assurance that she will sign for the part even though Faruk told me he was working hard towards it

I still have no assurance that she will sign for the part even though Faruk told me he was working hard towards it. The director Cağrı Bayrak, with whom I have already worked on Dolunay, insisted heavily on my accepting the project, so I threw myself body and soul into it. I do everything thoroughly, living everything to the fullest so as not to regret anything. Despite reciting this like a mantra, I know that if she doesn't accept the role, I would take it as a failure.

My father was the first witness to my crush. I was still a law student,a few weeks away from graduation when I froze in front of the television. It wasn't a habit of mine to waste time in front of the screen. Education, sports, friends, these were ruling my life. I searched for her in each and every one of my girlfriends. None of them could make me forget her smile. As I tried to pull myself away from her image, she became more and more famous.

I ended up graduating, started a law firm with two of my lifelong friends and then, without a warning, 4 years ago, everything came down to a bet. I was attending a football game when mutual friends introduced me to a movie producer. He looked at me carefully, frowning and asked if I was interested in acting ... I gave it a try, just for fun and that was it, I was as good as hooked.

Four years later I haven't opened a law book for ages... but my father is right, I would have time to be a lawyer again when I will no longer be wanted on TV. In the meantime, I'm enjoying it. From supporting roles to lead roles, I finally have propositions that are reserved for the elite and I now aspire to a real recognition from my peers. I know that working a long side her will boost my career even more but that's not my primary motivation.
