Okay, so.. I was gonna make this its own chapter as like, an announcement, but.. I hate it when people do that, so I won't ANYWAYS *ahem*, my portable keyboard is acting up, and I can't use my computer because the keyboard isn't made for typing. Don't ask why.. So for the next little while, I'll be typing using the mobile device keyboard. Which means.. You guessed it.. Autocorrect!! Yay!! And slower updates, so sorry. I'll be back to normal in about a week, so just.. Hold tight.

ONTO TEH STOREH.

Just as I finish slaying a behemoth, my phone buzzes. I pick it up, partially hoping that it's Sans. My heart drops when I see the ID.

Grillby: I just got the power back on in the bar. People are pouring in. Would you mind working a shift? I think for a second. I don't have anything else to do, and Sans is sorting out his man period, so I may as well.

Me: Sure thing! When do you want me to come by?

Grillby: By six, preferably. That's when business usually starts to get better. I glance at the clock, sending Grillby a quick conformation. It's five fourteen. I rush to my room, changing into something a bit more presentable than a black hoodie.. Let's see.. I pull out a few options, which consist of an edgy looking jacket, a slightly more presentable hoodie dress, and a short sleeved shirt with some see through legging and a skirt.

I sort through, weighing out my options. I like the hoodie dress, and I guess I could wear the jacket. I'm not too fond of wearing a skirt, so I return that outfit to the closet. While I like the familiarity of the hoodie dress, it could restrict my movements.. Which I've trained myself not to do. I only wore it around Sans because I felt safe with him.. Grillby's doesn't provide that feeling. I pull on the jacket, wearing a black shirt with a (F/C) heart underneath. I keep on the leggings.

I look at my reflection. Personally, I'd have to say I like it. i teleport to the bathroom, applying some makeup. As per usual, it's mainly black. I do a smoky eye, putting on some eyeliner. I don't like wearing blush, so I don't apply any. The makeup that I apply brings out my jacket. I look at the clock again. five forty five. I may as well get to Grillby's fifteen minutes early. I can get some supper after my shift.

"(Y/N). Thanks for showing up. Are you alright? Alphys told me what happened." He says comfortingly.

"Yeah, I'm good. Sans and I are friends again." Grillby looks at me, slightly disapprovingly.

"Why did you forgive him so easily?" He asks, trying not to seem rude. "Almost killing you is a serious offence." I offer him a smile.

"I have my reasons." From what I remember, Sans is the only one who can remember restarts. So no one else would understand the reasoning behind my quick forgiveness.

"Right.. Well, you can start your shift whenever." He makes his way back to the bartender's counter, pouring a drink. I make my way to the piano, silencing the crowd with a wave.

"Salutations, fellow members of society!" I shout, chuckling slightly. "I will be playing for you.." I go through my bag.. Crap. I forgot to bring sheet music. I quickly skim my mind.. I have a few Gabbie Hanna songs memorized, and I have a vague imprint on some Disney pieces from last time. I put a fake smile on my face. I've never been good at memorizing songs, and if I mess us in front of all these people.. I take a steadying breath. "Just some random pieces. Y'all have probably heard them before."

I sit down on the piano, starting the intro. I play a wrong chord, grimacing as my fingers slide over to correct my mistake. I glance at the crowd. No one seems to have noticed. I let my hands glide across the piano, playing the rest of the intro without hesitation. I know the lyrics. I've heard them so many times, it would be impossible to forget them.
