I ponder this statement, Sans still sniffling on my shoulder. I have a crush on Sans. And he is still in love with someone who broke his heart. A pang of heartache resonates through my chest. Sans' chest heaves.

"Thanks, (Y/N), heh.. I really needed to rant." I smile sadly at him.

"No problem." I reply. "Do you want me to help you with researching your man period?" I offer gently."

"Sure, heh.. Why not?" Sans replies, cheeks slightly tinted blue. He passes me a book titled 'Different Monster Heats'. I flip through it, seeing many.. Obscene diagrams near the back. I blush, turning to the table of contents.

"So.. You're a skeleton, right?" I ask stupidly. No duh, he's a skeleton! Idiot. I mentally reprimand myself. Sans gives me a weird look.

"No, I'm a dog monster." He smirks. "But yeah. I am a skeleton. I'm.. Uh.. Not sure if we have our own entry there, seeing as there's only two of us now." Sans looks back to his book. "If not, just look at general monster heats."

"Snow problem!" Sans and I both grin, turning back to our books. There's a small section on skeleton heats. I flip to it.

The average skeleton heat lasts for around two weeks if the desire to mate is not satisfied. Like normal heats, some common symptoms may include being overtly eager to mate, changes in diet, and mood swings. They may also experience extreme overheating, and an increased body temperature. To prevent this, someone they're close too must be near them at all time. If attraction is present, it would be more effective. For skeletons, if magic is present, it may malfunction slightly while sexual attraction is present, being either overly powerful or under. Ha. Seems kind of like a period. I chuckle. Sans looks at me.

"What? Something.. Humerus?" He smirks. I giggle.. What? I don't normally giggle.. This crush thing is getting to me.

"Well.. I'm not sure if you'd know what this is, but.. Your man period seems a lot like a girl period." I smirk. Sans looks down, blue dusting his cheeks.

"Yeah..  Uh.." Sans tries to change the subject. "So apparently if I jack off a ton, it might make it go away.." His blush intensifies. "But, uh.." Sans turns to the book, directly quoting a text. "In order for the heat to fully fade, the skeleton needs to either wait it off, or engage in se.." Sans and I both blush at the mention of that word.

"Yeah, my book says that too.. Must be pretty general advice." I look down as I speak, slightly mumbling the words. "So.. Apparently to make things better, you've got to be near someone who you're close to.. Like a friend or significant other." Sans smirks.

"So.. Now I have an excuse to hang out with you a lot.. That's ice." I chuckle at the pun. "Uh.. If you need to go, that'd be cool. I'll probably head out soon, too." Sans offers. I look at the time.. Eight forty-five.

"Yeah, I should probably get going.." I say. "Tibia honest, though.. I could stay up all night. I've learned to keep my sleep schedule flexible due to.. Night terrors, you could call them." Sans smiles empathetically.

"Yeah, me too.. We should plan a sleepover sometime! We could invite the whole gang! Alphys, Papy.. Undyne too, I guess.." Sans suggest excitedly.

"Yeah! I could make pizza, and for breakfast.." I do jazz hands. "Breakfast pizza!" Sans chuckles.

"Yeah.. No one knows what pizza is really, in this restart.. So that'd be cool." He ponders something. "Yeah, this idea is going somewhere! I'll text you when I set a date, m'kay?"

"Cool." I look back at the clock. "I'd better get going. I'll be expecting a text!" Sans nods, grinning.

"That's.. Cool."  He smirks. "Welp, it was ice to hang out with you. Seeya sometime." He stands up, taking the books with him.
