After I'm finished prepping the toppings, Undyne and Alphys make their way into the kitchen.

"Do we eat now?" Asks Undyne, her voice noticeably groggy from sleep.

"Nah, we've gotta wait for Papy." Sans replies before I get a chance to. I nod in agreeance.

"Yeah, it'd be best if we all ate together." I offer.

"What is this, Sunday brunch?" Undyne mutters. Sans disappears for a second. His absence is followed by a suspicious scream from Papyrus' room. Sans reappears.

"We should be eating soon." He says, leaning against a counter. Alphys looks at Papyrus' orange door worriedly, clicking two of her claws together.

"SANS, YOU IMBECILE! THERE ARE MANY OTHER WAYS TO WAKE ME UP, AND OUT OF ALL OF THEM YOU CHOSE THAT ONE!" Papyrus marches down the creaking stairs, glaring at Sans.

"Heh.. You can't really change my mind.. I've got a thick skull." Sans and I both chuckle. Papyrus looks to me, partial betrayal in his black eyes.

"(Y/N), YOU MUSN'T LET MY BROTHER INFLUENCE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOUR FOR THE WORSE. I DO NOT WISH TO SEE YOU GOING DOWN THE COMEDIC SPIRAL THAT MY BROTHER HAS FALLEN INTO!" Papyrus lectures. I shrug, smirking.

"Yeah, Sans sure is a bonehead, isn't he? And besides, I'm just naturally punny. Snow comedic spiral I haven't gone down." I joke. Papyrus groans, while Sans and I chuckle.

"Right, can we eat now? I'm starved!" Undyne complains, taking a seat at the table.

"In front of you is an expertly cooked batch of pancakes with a multitude of different toppings. I hope you like it." I present. Sans gives me a look. Right. "Oh, and I forgot; Bone appitite." Papyrus groans, as Sans gives me a thumbs up. Undyne happily puts three pancakes onto her plate, lathering them in whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I get myself a singular pancake, putting whipped cream, strawberries, and sprinkles onto it. Sans picks up a pancake and, as expected, pours half a bottle of ketchup on it. I grin. Papyrus gives Sans a look.

"YOU KNOW, TOO MUCH KETCHUP ON ANYTHING WILL RUIN IT!" Papyrus lectures.

"Nah, bro. It'll only make it better." Sans says, piling a large dosage of ketchup onto his fork. He puts a crumb of pancake on top, shoving the fork into his mouth.

"S-Sans, you should really appreciate (Y/N)'s work. I-I mean, she's probably feeling a-at least partially offended. R-Right, (Y/N)?" Alphys joins the conversation. I smirk at Sans, who gives me a pleading look. His eyelights expand, making his face look cute. I blush.

"Yes. Sans not eating the pancakes we made together is causing me very deep emotional pain. Like, for real. I might start to sob. Sans' lack of appreciation for my pancakes may break our friendship." I say, trying to sound serious. Sans rolls his eyes at me.

"S-See! (Y/N) is.." Alphys starts triumphantly. She looks back at me, a green blush coating her yellow cheeks. "O-Oh. Y-You were.. B-Being sarcastic.. But still! it's rude!" Alphys huffs, looking down. Undyne swallows the large mouthful of pancakes that she was eating, standing up.

"Yeah, Sans! Show some respect for your girlfriend!" Undyne teases.

"..Not my girlfriend! And also, it's a free frigging country. I have the right to eat my pancakes how I want." Sans and I both blush. I retreat into my hoodie, as Sans tries to act cool. "Besides; I don't even like her. I like Gylfie." He retorts. My heart drops again. I take a bite of pancake, silently dying. Everyone continues their breakfast in silence. I eat as quick as possible. Once I'm finished, I teleport away my dirty dishes, transporting myself to Sans' room. I silently pack my bag, my thoughts racing. Sans quickly joins me, making me jump from his sudden appearance.
