I woke up in the bed with Meech's arms still around me. All last night he would not leave my side for nothing. I got up & started packing my stuff back up.
Meech woke up & looked over at me while I was packing. Then , he sat up and moved to the edge of the bed.

"You bouta leave?.."
"Yea.. as much I don't want to, I think going back to my mom's until I get my own lil place is the best decision."
"Yea.. I totally agree.. ion want you getting hurt ova here."
"I don't want you getting hurt either Meech. Whatever shit you've gotten yourself into... please stay safe. Okay?"
"Aight, and again.. I'm sorry for getting you into my shit. I love you too much to see you get hurt cause of me."
"Meech.. how many times I gotta tell you I forgive you.. "
"Until I feel better about leaving you here by yourself."
I sat next to him & held his hand.
"It's okay.. really. I'm fine.."
"Aight.. just call me if you need anything."
"Of course.." I gave him a longggg hug then grabbed my bags and went to my car.

My mom knows the whole story on why I'm coming back & the drive by so hopefully I'm welcomed with opened arms..

Only thing I'm worried about is going back to school & having to deal with Mekai. Him & I did not end on the best terms.

I got my stuff out and walked inside the house. Nobody was around so I went to sit my things in my room. Thank God my mama left it the same. Then I went to Maleah's room & she was sitting on her bed smoking with her friend. I almost snapped , but then I knew it was ME that brought her into that kind of environment. She quickly passed it to her firmed that hid it behind her back

"Milan!!" She said while getting up and running over to me
"Hey love..tell ya friend to go home. We gotta talk"

She waved bye to her friend & I sat next to her on the bed.
"You staying?.."
"Mhm yea."
"You promise ?"
"Yess. I promise. Now! Back to the topic you don't really want to talk about."

She rolled her eyes & sighed , "I know , I know.."
"If you know , then why you in here smokin?"

"It wasn't nothin heavy.."

"Doesn't matter. You know mama gon smell that shit Maleah. Look.. I understand you smokin cause everybody around you doing it, but don't be like everybody around you. Be Maleah. This shit not coo.. for real."

"Okay. Don't go all mama on me."

I laughed , "you know I'm just lookin our for you. Where mama & Mekai at anyway ?"

"Mekai in his room & Mama at work."
"Bet." I walked out her room and walked into Mekai's. I decided to not think and just walk in.

"Hey.."
He looked at me and raised his eyebrows.
"Why you back ova here ?"
"I'm movin back in.."
"Hell nah Milan.."
"What you mean? This still my house too."
"You lost those privileges when you walked out on us."
"Walked out on you? Mama forced me to go live with grandma , but I'm anted to stay with dad. Before you try and check me .. at least have yo facts right."
"Don't matter. You still left."
"I was getting treated like shit here anyway.
Don't sit here & act like y'all wasn't tryna dog me any chance y'all got."
"Mhm yeah.. whatever you say."
"You know I'm right."

He laughed , "You're not though Milan. Yo sensitive ass always got in yo feelings when you got in trouble for doing some shit you knew you shouldn't have been doin. Plus you was always disrespectful towards mama. So don't play that card."
"What Card,  Mekai?"
"The innocent card. You fucked up too. So, don't put all yo bullshit on us. Now fuck outta my room."

I sighed & walked out. He's making it hella hard for me to want to be here rn..
