Chapter eleven | The end

Valerie watched as her mother got inside of the van along with Hopper and Eleven they were going to go close the gate while Nancy, Jonathan, and Mrs. Byers were going to burn the Mind flayer out of Will but the rest of them were stuck at the house with Steve

"you did not just put that thing in the fridge," Valerie said disgusted after watching both Steve and Dustin shove the dead Demodog corpse in Mrs. Byers fridge

"Its for science,"

"well then science is disgusting," she walked away from the two just Intime to see an argument start between Mike and Lucas about Elevens safety "will you guys please shut up from what I heard Eleven is a total badass so I'm pretty sure she can handle herself, and besides there is nothing we can do we're stuck here,"

'that's not entirely true," Dustin said drawing her attention

"what are you talking about?"

"the Demodogs have a hive mind when they ran away from the bus they were called away,"

"so if we can draw their attention," Lucas stated

"maybe we can draw them away from the lab," Max added

"and clear a path to the gate,"

"yeah and then we all die," Steve said arms crossed around his chest, Mike then walked away pointing to a spot on the map and then Pointed to another spot he explained how we could set it on fire to distract the Demodogs all the while Steve was yelling in protest

"hey this is not happening!" he yelled "I promised to keep you shitheads safe, and that's exactly what I plan on doing. We're staying here on the bench and we're waiting for the starting team to do their job does everybody understand?"

"this isn't a stupid sports game,"

"I said does everybody understand? I need a yes," before anyone could answer a car engine revved outside. They all ran to the window to see Billy's car pulling up

"that's my brother he can't know I'm here," Max said worriedly "he'll kill me he'll kill us," he added motioning to both Sinclair's

"wait a minute what the hell did I do," they ignored her question and continued looking out the window as Steve walked outside to get ride of Billy. "he's gonna see you guys if you keep looking through the wind," she told them and sure enough seconds later they dropped to the ground and Billy came barging in.

"well, well, well Lucas and Valerie Sinclair what a surprise," he walked up to them slowly "I thought I told you to stay away from them Max."

"Billy go away."

"you disobeyed me, and you know what happens when you disobey me, I break things," At that he grabbed the collars of both Valerie and Lucas and pushed them against the wall "since Maxine won't listen to me maybe you will. You both stay away from her,"

"I didn't even fucking do anything to you asshat!" Valerie yelled trying to get free

"oh really don't think I don't see the way you look at my sister its fucking sick you disgusting dy-" not letting him get another word out Valerie slammed her knee into his crotch making him release them "you are so dead Sinclair! You're dead." but before he could attack Steve pushed him from behind
