"What she doesn't know won't kill her, "

You sit in your apartment alone, waiting upon Jennie's arrival from a night class while you nibbled upon some salty snacks. The burglar bars which were installed during the day occupy every single entrance of your apartment, including windows. Giving you some sort of safety. You remember Jennie also telling you earlier that a security system will be enforced tomorrow on your day off.

But all of that didn't give you peace of mind, in the back of your mind you still have an ongoing fear that something bad still might happen.

Jennie was busy with class and so was Jungkook, Jimin was busy with God-knows-what, and you didn't have the confidence to ask Yoongi and Soekjin to stay - simply because your thoughts convinced you that they had better things to do rather than sit here with you.

One positive thing happened though, all the boys had your number. And until one of the boys text you first - you still don't have Jimin's number.

You sigh as you pull the blanket up to your chin and cuddle into the sofa, rewatching your favorite kdrama with no interruptions. Hoping that Jennie will come home soon.

Jimin feels relief, feeling his hand hold the top of the beer bottle and bringing the beverage to his lips. He feels some sort of satisfaction as he watches the people stand in front of his car in a panic, a woman clearly calling the cops while her bar was vandalized.

This always happens.

His mother is constantly bringing out the worst of him, but Jimin was blinded by his anger so much that he didn't even realize that his attitude was also partially his fault. For the past few years, his allows his mother to ruin him so much that the pain has become apart of them.

This is most probably one of the main reasons why he was never fond of you in the beginning.

You had pure intentions, invariably minding your own business and it did something to him. Jimin watches as a police car drives and parks in front of him before his phone started to ring. He

"Where you have been?"Jungkook mumbles, " You were upset earlier and you can do some messed up shit when you're angry."

"I went to the library, " Jimin says sarcastically, " It doesn't matter what I did dumbass, at the end of the day I fucking did it."

Jungkook grits his teeth, " You can't keep doing shit like this with Y/n in your life now. How the fuck do you think she will feel?"

And Jimin couldn't help but wonder himself. It was just recently that he has gotten on your good side, he closes his eyes for a brief moment and he couldn't helpbut think back to last week. When he saw the smile on your lips right after he kissed you. Everytime you look at him, you become giddy and somewhat relaxed - he won't say happy.

Jimin doesn't think he's capable of making someone feel such.

His mother isn't even happy for him, why would you be?

"She will hate herself for allowing herself to fall for a criminal."

"Falling?"Jimin chuckles bitterly, "Whatever."

But Jungkook was right. Jungkook may have been a joker, but he always spoke nothing but truth. If you were to ever find out what Jimin did in his free time - you would distance yourself. And if he's the only person you're feeling safe around, without him you will never feel a sense of security again.

Jimin hangs up the call, checking the time before making up his mind. It was almost midnight and yet despite it being so late. Jimin had hope you were awake, and even though he just released his anger. There was discomfort within himself.

And the only thing that will fix that is you.

He nods his head in understanding, turning his car on and strapping on his seatbelt before making his way towards your apartment.

You hug the pillow close to your chest, eyes briefly closed at you attempted to sleep. But you can't. Your paranoia was started to eat your thoughts away, feeling your sick in your throat. You could go to Jennie and sleep in her room but she was having a hard time with all of her new classes - and asked nicely to be left alone.

The phone that you clutched in your hand begins to continuously vibrate and with blurry eyesight. You answer it.

"Hello?"You speak quietly.

Jimin takes a deep as he stares at your front door.

"I'm at the door, " He says, "Come open for me."

And you instantly hang up, grabbing your duvet cover and instantly wrap it around your being. You really do try to hide your excitement, but as you grab your batch of keys and dart out of your room. You try and not to make noise to wake your best friend, also attempting to not trip over your feet as you made it down the stairs.

You shove the key into the door, twisting it and pulling it to see Jimin there. You frown at his messy hair, and you couldn't help but ask, "Are you okay? You don't look so good."

The second key opens the burglar bar and you instantly open the door completely. But Jimin doesn't answer your question. Instead, he wraps his arms around you, instantly kissing your forehead. As much as you would love the gesture - you can't help but frown at the small whiff of alcohol that laced his being.

His cologne wasn't as dominant but you force yourself to ignore it. You relock the doors, Jimin already pulling towards the couch.

"Jimin?" You call out, but he still ignores you.

He wasn't in a mood to talk, and yet your voice brought him comfort. Jimin pulls you into him, pulling the blanket around the both of you, allowing you to rest on his chest while your head resting on his arm.

"You know I'm always here for you, " You mumble, "I know boys hate talking about their feelings because they are scared that people will judge them for being seen as weak, "

You sigh before nuzzling yourself into his chest and the words that leave your mouth cause him to stiffen.

"But I will never judge you."
