I hope you're all safe in this day and age. first I'm looking for a person, I think they've changed their username because I can't seem to find them back. This person suggested that I connect Ben barnes and Emma Watson with Amelia among other things, I'd love to have another chat, please sent me a PM. Secondly, I've been toying with this idea in the future chapters. What do you think of Amelia and Alex adopting a child they'd met on a visit and then met again and felt connected to and they learn that he/she lost his/her last family member or something and they adopt the child. Do you think that would fit in with this story. I think it would be something they would do, please leave your thoughts below or send me a PM if you want it to remain private, always open for ideas if I can fit them into the story.

"So they are out of the Royal family?" her grandmother asked her after they had settled into the bedroom they were given on their trip over to the Uk as she nodded her head at them. Harry was still in the UK, arranging stuff as he explained it, and he still had one event to attend in February and then he would leave for Canada as well.

She wasn't sure that entering the family right now was the best of times, but she had to play the cards that seh'd been given and try to prove to the public that she was nothing like Meghan Markle, the damage done to the firm in the last two years was already enough, thye didn't need another scandal coming up, one thing was for certain, it wouldn't be her causing the scandal.

"Were you aware of it when you came over?" her gran asjed her, sure she understood that there were things that Amelia may now be aware off that other probably weren't and that there would always be things that she wouldn't be able to tell them about and she respected that. But it would be nice to be kept up to date about certain things if bombs like those were going to drop, especially since it had an impact on her as well.

"Well if I knew about problems, sure I was aware that they were a problem, hell the entire earth knew, but things really exploded the day I came back, or at least started to explode, and then the bomb came on January 8th, we only knew ten minutes in advance that they were going to make a certain announcement." She explained to her as she thought about all that had gone down in the last couple of days as she informed her of it all. Now the Sandringham summit had happened and a certain decision had been made and announced, their invite to the wedding was still there, because that would cause another storm, but she wasn't sure if they were going to show up at all.

"The British public isn't really a fan of them now, Meghan basically fled Canada, the day after the announcement, leaving Harry with the mess to clean up. That alone showed what kind of woman she was to her as she got up to make them a cup of coffee as Kate walked in with Alice on her arm.

"I thought you might have arrived." Kate grinned, greeting her grandparents warmly with a kiss on the cheek and a one armed hug, ever since they got introduced to each other they had gotten along well, much to her relief. They'd met up for small breaks here and there, and even tomorrow they were going to Berkshire to spend the day with the Middletons.

"So when does Alex leave?" her gran wondered as Kate joined them for a cup of tea as she went to sit down at the table.

"In five days." She told them, tomorrow they were going to have their first joint engagement of the year, so far she'd been out of the public eye for a month. Not that she hadn't been seen going into stores and such, but it wasn't like she'd been sat on her lazy ass either. She'd been working her ass off for the last three weeks.

"When will he be back?" her grandfather wondered as he relaxed in the chair that he was sat in.

"February 4th, he'll be gone for nine days in total, but it's his job." She explained with a small shrug of her shoulders, wanting to add it to their defence.
