Chapter twenty nine - What?!

You flinched once you heard his voice,
"O-oh Inosuke-" You turned to face him, you face was red again.

"Sorry I didn't mean you wake you....." You said politely.

He pulled you back to him, "You still didn't answer me," His voice was a little more gentle than the last time you had heard it.

You blushed more as you stumbled back over to him, "Well, I-I thought you wouldn't like... me being there," Your voice got really quiet.

You heard him mumble "I was comfortable," quickly as he sat up and let go of your wrist.

You looked away, flustered.

Ceoko just stared at you both, "You guys seem to have healed-" He mumbled grumpily. You nodded while Inosuke started poking at his makeshift bandages.

"Don't take those off-" Ceoko told him, he just looked up at him said "I do what I want," and continued to rip them off.

"You need those!" You said, "But I'm fine" He responded unusually calm.

His cuts weren't bleeding anymore.... thankfully, but his bandages still had some blood on them-

You tried to wrap him up again but he just kept taking them off. You grabbed his hands to try and stop him, to your surprise he stopped.

"Please?" You asked slowly as if he was going to throw you off.

"Fine," He grumbled, you smiled and fixed the bandages.

Ceoko had a sneaky grin on while Inosuke glared at him.

Even after the battle, what happened.... ?

Inosuke was still the same feral boar he always was. It made you smile in a way, but.... was he hiding something? You wouldn't want that.

You looked over at their now staring contest.

....

It was pretty extreme...

Ceoko wasn't blinking at all- it was probably because he was a cat, but Inosuke wasn't giving up either....

"Uh..." You interrupted them, "What are we going to do now?..."

They still didn't break their stare, "After all that? I want to take a nap," Ceoko said.

Now that you thought about it.... you didn't really remember anything from last night.....

You remembered seeing Inosuke with Douma and then...... and then..... it was all a blank....

"Ceoko.... what actually happened?.... I don't remember much of anything...." You asked him.

He finally broke the staring contest with Inosuke to look at you, Inosuke started commenting about how amazing he is.

"You don't remember?" He asked, you shook your head.

You had faint visions but they didn't make sense, trees destroyed, ground broken....

It just didn't make sense.....

Who could do that?

"Well..... then it's story time," He put his hands together, "Sit down-"

You sat down, Inosuke was hesitant, he looked like he would reject- but once he saw you sit down he sat down as well.

Ceoko breathed out, like this was some dramatic moment.

"....."

"....."

"Get on with it!" Inosuke interrupted the silence.

"Ah, right-" Ceoko sent a glare Inosukes way, which he returned.

"So- you saw Inosuke with Douma almost probably dead, then you did all the damage by turning into a giant 40ft fox with nine tails just by pure anger alone and destroyed everything in your path. Douma got away but that's okay, then you passed out and I dragged you both here," He said it all so fast you weren't sure if you heard it correctly..

"Wait...." You tried to comprehend it,

"WHAT?!" While Inosuke just blurted out the first thing in his mind.
