Chapter thrity three - Truth

This morning was....... eventful... I wake up, oh hello there spider...... S p i d e r . Listen, I don't mess with spiders. So I leap off of my bunk bed in full blown panic, and since I'm the tallest I'm at the tippy top bed. So I leap and grab the top of the actual door- not just the frame, fall onto the door and smash my fingers in...... they are now bruised and bleeding. BUT I CANT SCREAM BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS ASLEEP.
Good thing it was my left hand
Aha......

Inosuke was getting tired, he would need to find a place for all of us to stay.

But he didn't want to wake you-

Nor did he want help from stupid cat face.

He could do this, he can do anything!

So he puffed out his chest and..... banged his head into a tree to wake himself up.

It worked?.... but now he had a bleeding head.

And probably a concussion.

He kept moving, he wasn't tired anymore so now they didn't need a place to stay! Problem solved!

An hour passed it was about 2am now. Inosuke was tired again, Ceoko had woken up for no apparent reason.

He stood up and sat on Inosukes right shoulder, Inosuke growled.

Ceoko snickered, "Getting tired yet?"

"Of course not!" He barked back.

"Whatever you say-" He sighed, he glanced back at you, who was sleeping peacefully. Your ears twitched as they talked.

"Oh look at that there's a cave," Ceoko said.

Inosuke looked over in that direction "Where?"

There was no cave.....

"So you are tired," Ceoko said smartly then did a cat smirk.

"I never said th-!" He was cut off.

"Shush- you're going to wake up Y/N-" Ceoko hissed quietly.

Inosuke stopped talking immediately, you shuffled a little. You had heard the noise but didn't feel like waking up.

Ceoko began licking himself, " If you pass out it won't be good- I'm not going to carry both of you, and you wouldn't want Y/N waking up,"

Inosuke growled a bit and thought about it, "Fine, let's go find a stupid cave,"

"That's the spirit," Ceoko smacked Inosukes hair around as he went up to the mountainside.

Ceoko sniffed the air, "There should be one nearby,"

Inosuke copied what Ceoko did, "I know,"

Ceoko just looked at him like he was stupid..... "Sure you do..."

Ceoko was right, there was a small cave in the mountain. It was covered in leaves and had a pretty big opening.

Ceoko jumped off Inosukes shoulder and turned back to human.

Inosuke went in the cave and set you down on the floor, you were still hugging his mask.

Ceoko sniffed the air, he looked confused for a second. It had a strange smell, it didn't smell like demon.... but in a way.... it did.

Inosuke sat down next to you protectively. Ceoko looked at Inosuke and shrugged off the smell, he'll investigate it more later.

"You need to work on your truth," Ceoko spoke suddenly.

Inosuke looked at him weirdly, "Im very truthful!" He whispered angrily.

Ceoko looked at you then Inosuke, "You're so obvious-" He snickered and sat down.

"Am not," Inosuke denied.

"Whatever, I'm going to bed-" Ceoko said and then laid down.

Inosuke glared at him as he turned the other way to sleep.

Then he looked at you, you were sound asleep curled up in a ball.

He smiled to himself and laid down next to you.

Truth.......

was he being truthful?
