Chapter forty five - SEASON TWO : Flashbacks

It was a normal day, your father had fallen asleep on the couch while drinking like usual.

You were glad he was asleep, he couldn't spew insults at you when he was like this.

You got into clothes that hid your ears and tail, it never really did anything, everyone already knew what you were. Which was one of the reasons your dad hated you.

You went outside carefully, you knew your dad hated it when you snuck out but you didn't want to be stuck in your room all day.

You ran outside, it was still dark out the sun was about to come out. You loved watching the sunrise when you were sitting at the top of the hill with the cherry blossom tree.

It felt safe up there, you didn't know how else to describe it.

You ran up the path to the top of the hill and sat down against the trunk of the cherry blossom tree just as the sun started to peek out from the hill.

You watched it go up, it's rays covering the dark sky with light, changing the clouds colors.

The village began waking up, people starting getting out from the houses to do their work, some adults chattered about the latest news. Which was probably about you.

You heard the bushes besides you move suddenly, your first thought was that it was an animal. So you ignored it.

Then it got louder, you began to think it was those kids, you sprung up and faced the bush.

"Come out and face me!" You yelled.

The moving stopped for a second then you heard an, "Oh?Well then, be prepared to face my wrathhhh!!!!" A young boy with no shirt jumped out of the bushes and tackled you.

You yelped as you weren't expecting a tackle, you both rolled back and hit a different tree, good thing you didn't roll all the way down the hill.

You scrambled to get him off of you and jumped away. It looked like he had hit his head and was holding it tightly while holding back tears.

He wasn't one of the kids in the village.... who was this?

"Wh-who are you!?" You yelled,

"Who are you!" He yelled back at you? still holding his head.

"I asked first!"

"Well I asked second!"

"So????"

You bickered for a bit till he finally broke, "I do know my name! It's-!" He checked the piece of paper that was strapped to his pants.

He stared at it for awhile.... "I can't read..." He muttered.

You laughed at him, "It's not funny! I will attack you again, don't mess with me!" He yelled.

"Let me see it," You said, completely ignoring his warnings.

The paper read "Inosuke Hashibira" You read it out loud.

"Yeah! That's my name!!! Now tell me yours!" He threatened with a smile.

"Y/N L/N," You smiled back.

You heard another sound from the bush, this time it sounded like an animal.

Inosuke immediately went over to the bush and pulled out a..... boar...?

You were confused and your face showed it.

"This is my brother, Khongh!" He made a boar noise to tell you his name.

"Khongh...?" You copied the boar noise, he nodded.

You were even more confused, the boar seemed happy tho.... maybe they did know each other... somewhat.

He put Khongh down then ran through the bush to where he came from.

"Hey-!" You ran after them.

You'd topped after a second of running and were soon surrounded by a group of boars.

"This is my family!" He told you, he was right in the middle of them all.

You looked at them all, "Woah...."

He snickered, "Aren't they amazing!" He seemed proud of them.

"Yeah!" You smiled and pet one of the boars, they weren't reacting as wild as a usual bit would.

He started naming them all with unusual boar sounds, which made you giggle.

You say for awhile listening to him speak about them and how hard they train him, it made you wonder..... how did he get here with them...? He obviously wasn't birthed by a boar.

A long yell calling out your name broke your thoughts, Inosuke turned towards you, "what was that?" He asked.

"That's my dad..." You said slowly.

"Really!!? I wanna meet him!" He sprung up and bolted away.

"Inosuke no!" You ran after him, "Inosuke you really don't want to! Inosuke!"

He was already running down the hill in a full sprint, you caught up to him pretty quick, "Inosuke, you really shou-" You froze as you met eyes with your father.

"Who's this brat? Shoo!" Your dad told him.

"I'm Inosuke Hashibira!" He yelled excitedly.

"I didn't ask for your name now go away, brat," Your father said harshly, you wanted to say something but you couldn't find the courage.

Inosuke was offended, but still didn't give up, "I heard your Y/N'a dad!" He horribly mispronounced your name.

"Didn't I tell you to leave already, go!" He grabbed you by your wrist and started to pull you inside.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Y/N!" He mispronounced it again.

Your dad stopped and turned towards him, "You really want to hang out with this, freak? Oh you haven't showed him have you? Of course you didn't,"

You looked down, your and ripped your hood down to reveal your fox ears and tail , you immediately tried to cover them up again.

Inosuke just stood there for a second.

"You see kid? She's a freak, you don't want to hand out with that,"
