"Beam, have you check the brochures I sent you?" Phana

"Yes Pha, it was good. I have talked with the firm already. They will send me the modified  sketch this weekend and probably go to the site too." Beam

"That was nice Beamie, its a good investment for you. It's for a long run" Pha

" I know Pha. I am only thinking of Fah. I want her to grow in a place where she can enjoy the balance of nature and modernity. A house with a nice view and a large lawn so she can play under the sun. I think it's healthier for her to love nature than be doomed  inside our apartment. Nice air and friendly neighborhood. " Beam

Phana smiles.

" I am so proud of you Beamie. You really sound like a very responsible father now. Gone is my  playful casanova friend who always brings me trouble. Its so funny and yet I find myself tearing up. Shit! I feel like a proud father." Phana  who sounds like a dotting parent to Beam.

" Stop it Pha. You can't be my Dad. My mom said, you are not her type!" Beam who is in the mood to joke with his friend who is acting sentimental.

"Beamie!!! " Phana who act like a sulking Dad

" Kidding Pha. You knew I love you right? " Beam

" Ewww Beam, don't let Kit hears you that. He'll assume you play favorites."

" He really will! " Beam laugh as he know Pha is right and he don't have the energy now to pacify a grumpy kitten.

" Anyways where's Kit?" Beam

" Unexpected surgery. A major one and their taking more time. He told us to get home first.  Do you want me to drive you back? I'll  love to play with Fah " Phana

"Mnnnn. Maybe not a good time Pha. You can play with her on your day off or if you are free this weekend. I bet her Nanny will appreciate more help when I go out and meet the representative this weekend." Beam who was a little caught of guard with Pha's suggestion. He finds it hard to  tell Pha that Forth will be be visiting him tonight.

But Phana is quick, he knows Beam too much and he knows how Beam has been spacing out a lot today. And  it seems that Beam has his reason for not allowing him in his apartment tonight.

" Beamie are you hiding something from me?" Phana with his scrutinizing gazed.

" No Pha...I am not..." Beam

" Try harder Beam, I knew you too well, you have been spacing out a lot today."  Phana

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Spill!" Phana

"Hmnn... not now Pha. I am still figuring things out. Besides Kitty is not here. I'll tell you both tomorrow." Beam with his pleading eyes.

" I am here!  I am here! You can tell us now." Kitty
who appears like a magic out of nowhere.

" Damn Kitty!" Beam

" Nice timing Kitty." Phana with his satisfied smirk.

"Now spill it Beam. We both are here."  Kitty

"Shit!" And Beam can only curse.

"Promise me first that you will stay calm and clear headed. " Beam

" Fine"  Kitty, while Phana just nods.

"Hmnnn it's Forth"  Beam

With the mention of Forth, Kit creases his wrinkled forehead while Phana has been discreet enough to hide his smirks.
