Chapter 15

Shino sat with her head on the table observing those around her. Her attention was mostly directed to the three new classmates. She was still a bit surprised about Toru, but she directed her attention elsewhere once she realized there was no use dwelling over it. Ren was still in a corner by herself. She really reminded Shino of a mouse for some reason. She was just so tiny and almost unnoticeable. Daichi was a ball of excitement who could match Kaminari's weird energy. And Akio seemed like the calm calculating type. The fact that he's having an easy conversation with Tokoyami proves it.

"Good morning Shino"

Momo finally broke away from the group of girls and managed to snag the seat behind Shino. Shino only glanced at her before looking back in the direction of the new arrivals.

"Morning Momo" she mumbled, lollipop still in mouth.

"What are you trying to figure out? "

Shino chuckled at the question. "Oh nothing really. I'm just curious"

"About what? "

Shino didn't reply and only hummed, an amused smile on her face. She was curious about the changed class and the possibility of major changes in the future. If the changes weren't caused by the three new students they were definitely going to be caused by her.

The door to the class opened and in fell a huge caterpillar. The thought and sight was very amusing to Shino. Everyone in the class had varying looks of surprise and curiosity on their faces.
"It took you lot four seconds to quiet down. We'll have to work on that"

Aizawa had crawled out of his sleeping bag and stood at the podium in the front of the class. He looked as scruffy and exhausted as ever. Shino never knew if it was from lack of sleep or his dry eyes.

"Word of advice. If you're here to make friends I suggest you take your leave"

"Are you our homeroom teacher? "

"I guess you arent as dumb as you look. My name is Shota Aizawa. You call me Mr. Aizawa. Now that we've been introduced I want you all to put these on and meet me out on the P. E grounds"

Shino and Sora did not hesitate to follow out on the order. They each took a P. E suit and left the class without a word. Izuku and Katsuki soon followed after their friends and soon enough Momo went after them as well.

"I expect the rest of you to leave some time today"

"But we'll miss the opening ceremony and our meetings with the guidance counselors"

"Future heroes do not busy themselves with such frivolous activities "

The group of long time friends were the first on the field. Shino didn't even care enough to put on the jacket properly. It was casually draped over her shoulder as she sat in the sand, drawing an unending circle. Katsuki picked a fight with Sora and oddly enough Izuku was not trying to stop it. He must be fed up with being dragged into the cross fire. Smart choice sitting that entire disaster out.

Momo soon joined Shino in the sand and the two sat in a comfortable silence. Shino adjusted her headphones when she heard approaching steps.

Aizawa was the first to appear and soon after him followed the rest of the class. They all filled onto the field and buzzed with nervous excitement.

"Today you will all be going through a quirk apprehension test"

"Quirk apprehension test? "

"You are all very much aware of the school's esteem reputation for freedom on campus. That privilege does not apply to students alone, for we teachers have equal right to do as we please" Aizawa explained this with a small smile on his face. "Softball pitch. Standing long jump. 50 meter dash. Endurance running. Grip strength test. Sustained sideways jump. Upper body exercises. Seated toe touch. You must all recognize these as the exercises done in middle school, if not you will be introduced to than today. Physical exercises where you were barred from using your quirks. The very test that will determine your fate this very day"
