last goodbye

Jungkooks pov

I wake up and groan, I sit up to see jimin, today is a special day for me!! Jimin is sat on a chair on the phone talking to someone with tears rolling down his cheeks, I tilt my head "jimin?"
He looks at me and then sighs "I've got to go hyung....see you soon" he hangs up and then turns to me

"You aren't safe with me....you have a plane ticket that will take you home... I'll stay away for a while"
I stand up "you're gonna run away from your problems again? Yes you hurt me but that wasn't your fault...if we go home together we can sort this out"

He shake his head "you aren't safe with me!!" I walk towards him, he growls loudly "stay back!!" I stop in my place "are you really going to run away from your problems?" He crosses his arms "I'm keeping you safe" I scoff "like fuck are you keeping me safe! I feel safe when I am with you!"

He points to the bed "there's your things...you can always call me....I can't hurt you through a screen" I look at the bed to see only my things packed. I look back at him "and here I was, thinking you'd never leave my side" he looks at me "I'm protecting you! I want to hold you in my arms but I don't want to hurt you again!"

Tears roll down my cheeks "right...we'll have fun here jimin...see you when you come to your senses and come home....I'll be waiting for you" he looks away. I grab my things and walk to the door, I look back at jimin who was still looking down

I sigh "I love you jimin" he looks at me "I love you too..." I walk out the room holding all my things and close the door behind me, more tears fall as I walk out the hotel and get into a cab

He takes me to the airport,I pay him and climb out....I guess I'm really going home alone.... without jimin once again....

I board the plane and sit in my seat, I'm sat next to a little girl who's parents are sat in front of her. I don't mind sitting next to a little girl, she won't bother me and I won't bother her

We take off and I look out the small window as more tears fall....I'm really alone....he's still in California....he might be there for months...

I gasp when the plane starts to smell of smoke, I look around and my eyes widen when a pilot says "okay passengers please stay calm, we're having some technical difficulty....please keep your heads down and buckle up!"

The little girl starts to cry, I quickly buckle her up and myself and then she puts her head down and I put my arms over her, a flight attendant looks at me "miss you need to put your head down!" I look at her "I'm protecting a child!" She sighs and then walks away

The little girl grabs one of my hands and holds it tightly, the plane starts to rock so I hold her tighter, the smell of smoke gets stronger, oxygen masks are dropped, I quickly grab one and place it on the little girl "stay calm okay" she nods

I then grab my oxygen mask and put it on myself and take a deep breath....
Just my luck right?
I guess it isn't a special day after all...

Chin-mae's pov
((An hour later))

"Uncle Jin,uncle Jin!!! What plane is mummy on?!!" Uncle Jin walks to me holding min-jun "the only one that is coming to Korea why?" I point to the TV screen

Uncle Jin gasps "no....no no no no no....NAMJOON!" Uncle joon runs in and nods "he was on that plane....we just got a phonecall" my eyes widen "is mummy okay?!" Uncle Joon looks at me "chin-mae....we don't know at the moment....she's in hospital"

Tears roll down my cheeks "we have to go see her! where is daddy?!" Uncle Tae Tae walks in "daddy's on his way home... he'll be here soon and we can all go visit mummy okay?" I nod and then hug uncle tae Tae, he hugs back "she'll be okay bud"

I cry "why always mummy?!" Uncle Tae Tae sighs "I don't know bud...I don't know....bad things always happen to good people"

A few minutes later daddy bursts through the door "let's go!" We all gasp
Everyone was now stood in the lounge, daddy picks up min-jun from uncle Jin and we call climb into a car

I look at daddy "daddy how did you get here?" He shrugs "honestly baby boy I'm not 100% sure myself" he wraps his arm around me "mummy will be okay....I promise you okay?" I nod

We all drive to the hospital, we all climb out, daddy holds min-jun and uncle Hoseok holds jiyoung, uncle taemin picks me up and we all walk to the front desk, daddy looks at the woman "where is my wife?" The woman looks at us and the smile that was once on her face has now disappeared "room 345 hurry....we don't know how long she has left"

My eyes widen, daddy then runs to the room with us following behind him, we open the door and I gasp "mummy!!"
She was hooked up to loads of machines and there was a big cut over her stomach, blood everywhere

I jump down and walk to her "mummy!" Her eyes open and she looks at me "h-hey b-baby" she then coughs violently
The doctor walks in "I'm so sorry....but the metal went straight through...we can't keep you alive...I'm so sorry but you'll have to say goodbye"

I cry more and shake my head "mummy no!" Mummy grabs my hand weakly "h-hey i-its o-okay.... y-you'll b-be f-fine" I cry harder and look at her "you cant die mummy! I need you!" She shakes her head "y-y-you're a-a-all g-grown u-up n-now....y-you d-dont n-need m-me a-anymore..."

I grip her hand tightly, jimin places min-jun down next to mummy who smiles weakly "h-h-hey b-baby b-boy....y-y-you w-will g-grow u-up t-to b-b-be a-an a-amazing m-man....y-y-you a-and c-chin-mae w-will h-have your u-uncles a-and d-daddy t-to g-guide y-your w-way"

Min-jun starts to cry, I cry more and hug her arm "mummy please don't go! I need you! I'll always need you!"

Mummy coughs violently and looks around at all my uncles and smiles weakly "t-t-take c-care o-of m-my c-children" she then looks at daddy "s-stay s-strong....t-thank y-you j-j-jimin"

Everyone cries more, daddy picks min-jun up, i cover my mouth when mummy's hand goes limp, her eyes slowly close "i-i-ill a-always b-be w-with y-you..." Her eyes close fully

*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*

The doctor presses a button making nurses and doctors rush in, they try everything they can.... but mummy's heart doesn't start again

I fall to my knees and cry more "mummy!!!!" Daddy kneels down next to me holding min-jun, he cries as well and hugs me "I'm so sorry....if I hadn't let her go on that plane...she would still be alive" daddy cries and hugs me tighter

I wrap my arms around daddy and min-jun i then look up to see uncle Jin crying and hugging uncle Joon, uncle Joon was crying, uncle yoongi was hugging uncle hobi and uncle Tae Tae and jiyoung who were all crying, uncle Felix was hugging uncle Han who were also both crying and uncle taemin was crying with his hand over his mouth

The doctor looks at us "we're so sorry for your loss...she was a great queen and an amazing Luna...

Time of date...3pm on the 1st of September..."

Daddy's eyes widen "it was her birthday....how could I forget?" More tears roll down his cheeks. I look at mummy's body that was now covered by a white sheet.
I grip daddy's shirt and we all cry, nobody says anything...all you can hear are the sobs from everyone

Mummy doesn't deserve this...mummy should still be alive!
I listen In to uncle joons conversation
With the doctor "h-how did he die exactly?" The doctor sighs "he was impaled by a piece of metal, he was protecting a little girl, the little girl is alive...all thanks to jungkook...."

This made me cry more....my mum was a kind-hearted person all the way till her last breath....she died saving someone she had never met....
