"Jennie?" Lalisa asked, shocked.
She hugged her knees, staring at Jennie who stood in front of her. She crouched down to Lalisa's level and cupped her cheek.
"Lalisa." She said sternly.
"Wake up."

The blinding light of the morning shone through the window, accompanied by Lalisa breathing heavily, holding her chest. She looked around the room. Lisa furrowed her eyebrows and looked down at her crossed legs.
"This isn't heaven," she muttered.
The door to the room opened, startling the girl. Her eyes went wide.
"Ah! Lalisa you're awake! I was so worried."
A woman said, smiling.

She sat down next to Lalisa, rubbing her leg and kept on smiling.
"Who are you?" Lisa asked.
"I'm your mother, you don't remember?"
"Not really."
Lisa gasped, sitting up straight, panicking.

"Where's Jennie?!" she frantically said.
Her mother sat there, confused.
"Kim Jennie, where is she?" Lisa asked, her eyes wide and her body shaking.
Her mother sighed and looked her in the eye.
"Lalisa, you don't know a Kim Jennie."

All along.

The woman she cared for.

Loved.

Admired.

Wasn't real.

It was all a dream.
