as jisung downs another shot of soju, felix watches him by the side with concern.

"mate, i don't think you should drink this much."

"shut up lix," jisung drawled, "i'm having a hard time here."

at this, felix perked up, leaning forward in interest, "how so?"

"minho broke up with me," jisung said hoarsely, pouring another shot for himself, "how come every single boy i date dump me right after? do you think it's a sign from the universe to change my sexuality to straight?"

felix blinked, surprised, "oh..."

"this sucks!" jisung exploded, causing a few people to look their way, shooting them weird looks, "maybe i should just date girls from now on. men are pigs."

"don't be ridiculous sung, " felix soothed, patting the boy on the back, "you'll find the one soon enough. okay, now stop drinking so much, it's time to go home."

jisung grunted, but he didn't object, using felix's shoulder to support himself, legs shaky as he stood up.

"okay, let's get seungmin-" felix paused, scanning the empty bar, "wait, where is he?"

sighing heavily, felix rubbed his temples, distraught.

"crap."

it was just another rainy saturday night, minho was in his dorms, eating his ramen alone whilst he watched brooklyn 99 on his computer. something he did every now and then to try and improve his english.

just then, he heard a knock on the door. he hesitated for a moment. was changbin home? did he forget to bring his key?

standing up and making his way to the door, he opened it slightly, only to see a certain aussie at the door.

"felix," minho sighed, opening the door wider, "changbin isn't here. he's at hyunjin's."

"i'm not here for binnie," felix shook his head defiantly, "i'm here for my best friend."

"jisung?" minho raised his eyebrows, eyes darting around nervously, "is he here?"

"no," felix crossed his arms, "i just want to carry out my best friend duties."

"duties?"

"mhm. listen, jisung is really broken right now, i don't know what you did, but he's really hurting. so you better do something about it."

"oh."

minho's facial expression softens, as he bit his lip.

"tell him... tell him i'm sorry."

"sorry isn't enough minho."

"i know."

"at least apologise to him in person."

"...well then, will you do me a favour?"

-

changbin and seungmin sat in silence next to hyunjin, who was doing his breathing exercises, a black tux laid out in front of him.

"okay. i can do this."

but the moment hyunjin had touched his tux, he immediately dropped it again, biting his fist.

"nope. nope nope. bad idea. i'm not doing this."

"but you still have two weeks until the dinner party right?" seungmin asked, placing a comforting hand on hyunjin's thigh.
