 "It's okay. I'm just happy you're home."

A content sigh escapes me as I take a sip of my cool water. The class has just finished our run and now we get a break!

"Hey, (Y/n)!" A warm voice rings out. I turn towards them with a bright smile on my face, but before I reach their eyes, a sting of pain radiates from the back of my skull.

Nausea bursts through me, causing my head to pound. The world is tinted blue and I'm unable to move. Suddenly, a cold hand grips the top of my head as cool tears stream down my face. The hand removes itself but I feel like nothing but an empty husk of myself.
A cough stings my lungs and I surge forward, whacking my forehead against a glass barrier in the process.

I groan and try to rub my head, but I can't feel anything when I move my hand. Panic washes through me as words flash in my vision like a dizzying lights display.

'There's no such thing as coincidence.'

Purple mist comes out of the floor as I soon begin suffocating on it.

More coughs sting my lungs and I double over, holding my torso.

But once again, my hands feel nothing and I land in an uncomfortable position.

A sudden idea comes to me and I try to use my Quirk against a ring of metal on the blue glass, but nothing happens.

I try again and again, but I don't feel the normal rush of power I usually do.

I just feel... empty.

Cold sweat matts my hair to my forehead.

I flinch in bed, unable to jump up like in movies.

My body doesn't move for a moment, but once it does, I feel a sort of relief. I sit up slowly, still regaining my senses.

A small meow from the doorway of my dim bedroom reassures me and a sleek black cat trots into the room.

I smile at him as the clumsy friend jumps onto my bed and falls over.

"Hey, Banjo..." I say quietly, petting the top of his head while he purrs.

His large feline eyes look up at me with worry.

"I... I know. I'm okay, I promise." He seems to shake his head as he moves over and curls up in my lap.

"I'll tell him if it gets worse, okay? But right now... this is my battle." I say to the quiet room before lying back down and staring at the blank ceiling while the sun rises.

"So I've been thinking," I say as we sit at the table eating cereal.

"That's never a good thing." Aizawa says sarcastically.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" I ask, feigning offense.

He takes a sip of his coffee. "All I'm saying is you're 1-A's number one problem child."

A gasp escapes me. "What?! I outrank Izuku and Katsuki?"

He shrugs. "Afraid so, kid."

I roll my eyes with a laugh. "Fine. Anyways, I've been thinking. Can I get a sleeping bag like yours?"

"Really? Why?" His dark eyes narrow skeptically.

I let out a huff. "Why are you so doubtful? I just want a nice, comfy, (f/c) sleeping bag. We can be twins!"
