~Backstories and Piggybacks~

A/N

I'm sorry if Kurogiri is out of character for this and if I change some things about his backstory that either are not true or won't be true in the future chapters/episodes. This is vital to (Y/n)'s backstory, so just keep that in mind if some things aren't true to the original My Hero Academia.

"Please, at the very least calm down. I understand it's confusing, but how about I tell you everything?"

"E-everything?" I question, wondering what exactly that would entail.

He nods. "Everything."

The next hour was spent with Kurogiri explaining my backstory.

That I don't even know about. So, you know, that was kind of weird.

Once he's finished explaining, I stand there, still in shock. "I...I'm sorry, so you mean to tell me that All for One is my father?!"

Kurogiri nods solemnly.

"And that he was trying to get my Quirk when I first developed it because he hated me?"

Another silent nod.

The information slowly sinks in. It helped to say it out loud, though it was still just as shocking. "Then why did you teleport me to the other world? Weren't you guys associates?"

He sighs and stretches his arm. "Yes; however, I do not condone his behavior for taking such a young child's Quirk."

"But why another world? That... seems a tad excessive. And why bring me back now? Also, how did you even do that? I'm pretty sure you're not that powerful." Before I can open my mouth to ask another question, he raises an arm.

"To put in it short, it was an accident. I meant to teleport you to an orphanage in (Y/h/c) in this world; however, something went wrong and I teleported you to a different world. I have spent the time after that looking for you, and a few months ago I found that you were in a high school in (Y/h/c), located in a separate world. And so I teleported you back. Although it was not easy and there were severe Quirk drawbacks."

I stare at him blankly. "So I could have stayed in this world the entire time!? WHAT?! I could have spent years training my Quirk, but nooooo because you don't know how to read a fucking interdimensional map?! I could've made friends with everyone in my childhood like in those fanfictions!" My mind spins with all the new information. "Hold up, you never mentioned my mother. Who's she?"

He heaves out a loud sigh. "To be candid, I am not sure. The details of your mother's whereabouts are unknown. She did, however, go on the run from All for One."

"Why? Didn't they have me?" I tilt my head slightly in confusion.

"She was an undercover hero. Then they fell in love and once she told All for One her true identity, he attempted to kill her. She later birthed a child and the media told the world. All for One conspired to take you for your Quirk, and he succeeded in obtaining you. Then I stepped in and transferred you away. She vanished without much notice and All for One began looking for you. I kept quiet about your location, but I didn't know you'd later attend the very school we were targeting."

"So this was pretty much just a horrible coincidence?" I ask, scowling slightly.

"Not the word I would use, but I suppose."

"That reminds me, how did you know that phrase? 'There's no such thing as coincidence'?" I ask, recalling how he quoted that over the phone.

"Because I'm the one who gave it to you."
