It had been a couple of days since Irina and Xenovia had settled in Y/N's apartment and to say that it was difficult to live with them was an understatement. It was a real hell that engaged the forces of Y/N more than he had ever hoped. Man, he thought managing his sister Mordred during the Sixth Grail War was the most exhausting thing of all but managing them was also difficult.

Irina and Xenovia were not much help at home and the only thing they did was eat, sleep, and talk about God all the time as true fanatics. Y/N was sincerely starting to regret having invited them to his home but, remembering that they were in trouble, he did not want to abandon them.

Damn E-rank luck.

Y/N knew that Xenovia and Irina had come to Kuoh for a particular reason, although he did not know what in particular. In fact, Y/N already had an idea since he could perceive the holy aura from the object draped by a white cloth of Xenovia.

"There is this something I wanted to ask you," Irina said, noticing a remarkable detail, "Do you live alone? Don't you have a family?"

Y/N's gaze was obscured by Irina's question. The church duo realized that she had reached a painful point for Y/N.

Excuse me, "Irina bowed her head. Recognizing her mistake, "I don't mind if you don't want to talk about them"

Y/N shook his head. "You don't have to apologize," he said as he approached a bookstore full of books.

He searched between them until he found one with a red cover on which was printed a sword stabbed in the rock. He opened the book until he found the point, he was interested in. A photo of him and his family was jealously hidden inside the book.

"They died when I was seven years," Y/N said as he gave a nostalgic look to his parents.

Irina took the photo and noticed that Y/N looked amazing like her mother. She had the same wheat-blond hair and emerald-green eyes as she did, and her facial features were also very similar.

"How did they die?" Xenovia churches.

"If you're asking me, it wasn't a monster and not even some kind of accident like in manga and anime," Y/N joked "I do not remember much because of the trauma, but I clearly remember that it was a wizard who killed them"

Y/N could not afford the luxury of revealing to them the whole question of the Holy Grail, the war for its possessions and the Servants. To say that they had been killed by a magician was the best solution and was not even a lie since a certain witch was involved in that story.

"After their death, I was adopted by my father's sister," Y/N said with a sweet smile on his face, "she wasn't that bad"

"And where is she now?" Xenovia asked with curiosity.

Y/N blinked a couple of times at Xenovia's question. He did not immediately answer trying to find a good solution to his dilemma. According to his response, she may have suspected he was hiding something.

"She is somewhere in Germany to work on something," Y/N nonchalantly replied, "she didn't tell me what exactly and I didn't bother to ask."

Okay, now he just needed to see their reactions. The two girls watched Y/N with detective eyes before nodding at each other with a nod of the head. Y/N sighed inwardly, relieved that they had believed his very altered story.

"Have you ever tried to seek revenge?" Xenovia asked with the shadow of suspicion that invaded his face.

"I will not deny it. I did," Y/N responded as Irina's face took on a concerned expression, "But then I realized that revenge would not give me back my mother and father. What I could do was live and find a new purpose to attribute to my life"
