Folklore is the set of popular traditions that characterize a geographical area and the people who live there. It includes customs and customs, legends, beliefs and religious or magic practices, tales, proverbs, and anything else is handed down by oral tradition. Each civilization has its own popular superstition, making them different and unique from each other.

In Japan, it is a fundamental part of culture, characterized by its stories whose protagonists are heroes, monsters, gods and especially animals, often represented with human characteristics.

Japanese folk imagery boasts a vast repertoire of supernatural beings and mythical creatures, perhaps the biggest in the world. The Japanese monsters that populate the Japanese collective imagination are essentially divided into two main categories: yourei, or the ghosts of the deceased unable to reach the afterlife for some reason, and youkai, that is a group of various species of supernatural beings such as kitsune, kappa and nekomata.

Not all were evil spirits because many species of youkai lived apart from humans and the cases where one had a child with a human being were really few that could almost be counted on the fingers of one hand.

However, for this very reason, Y/N played a key role against the Khaos Brigade, also because it was not impossible for Youkai with bad intentions to join the terrorist organization. The fact that Y/N had a relationship with the avatar of the goddess Amaterasu and was the guardian of Kuroka made him suitable for dealing with the West Youkai Faction that reside in Kyoto.

On the train to Kyoto, Y/N was discussing the schedule of the trip. The meeting with Yasaka, the head of the Youkai Faction, would not be held before a few days, giving time to everyone to enjoy the journey.

"So, what will we do once we get to Kyoto?" Mordred asked curiously.

"First, we're going to the hotel to drop off our luggage," Y/N replied while taking brochures from the city of Kyoto, "apparently, we're going to sleep in a hotel run by the Sitri clan."

Seeing how the devils had renovated Y/N's house, everyone could already imagine the refinement of the place comparing it to a Grand Hotel. Well, everyone imagined the hotel with the exception of Jack who was curiously looking out the train window.

Jack was the new pawn of Y/N, but that was not perhaps the biggest news for her. Jack, who was born from the union of the souls of aborted children or who had died shortly after their birth during the Second Industrial Revolution, was experiencing for the first time the fact of having a real body. Y/N described her state, though inaccurately, as "finally born".

Since she had never really lived, Jack was naturally attracted to everything around her.

"How are you going to come in contact with the youkai?" Shirou whispered to not be heard.

"Azazel said that there will be someone who will put us in touch with them even if when I asked who was, he simply grinned," Y/N replied by putting everything in his rucksack, "I don't know why but I'm not comfortable." He turned to Tamamo and Kuroka and continued, "you will lead the negotiations"

Tamamo nodded her head. It did not take a genius to understand that they were the best suited to foster a peaceful relationship as Tamamo is a kitsune and Kuroka is a nekomata. The others just had to keep an eye out and eliminate the problems that might have occurred.

"Why did you agree to help?" Artoria asked perplexed.

Y/N crossed his arms to his chest and looked towards the window. "When I started to make those dreams, I didn't give them much weight since it is not a rare event. But I have to change my mind after what happened at the summit," Y/N said before turning to his parents again, "How did Fafnir reach this dimension? Who is the masked guy? I have a lot of questions and I want answers."
