Jolyne Kujo is wrongfully accused of a hit-and-run incident and is sent to Green Dolphin St. Prison. While serving her sentence, she finds out that she has unleashed her Stand ability and decides to take advantage of it in attempt to escape and to save his father from losing his Stand and memories. Little did she know that she's caught up with the supernatural events that has been stirring in the prison.
Review:
I wasn't really impressed with the setting and the plot and the ending. But the characters and the Stands make up for it. It has the usual bizarre vibes, clothing, characters, poses, and the long-lived Joestar clan.
In terms of villains, I really liked the "Jail House Lock." It was very witty and thrilling but not enough to rival my admiration for Yoshikage Kira from Part 4. The villain I strongly dislike is Enrico Pucci, he was too overpowered and his Stand's constant evolution frustrates me rather than amazed unlike Part 4 Kira's. It's because of him that the series had to end ambiguously.
For the protagonists, I find Jolyne pitiful. She isn't supposed to live behind bars if only she had good taste in men, also add the fact that she lacked paternal love and guidance. She also didn't make good use of her string ability unlike Doflamingo of One Piece (quite random but I never knew strings could be badass when it was utilized by Doffy). I admire her for being a strong and independent woman, but not enough to put her in the favorite character list.
Plot-wise, it's touching that Jolyne's trying to save her dad who literally didn't care for her until she got imprisoned, but again, Pucci's secret ties with DIO and his overpowered amnesiac step-bro who started a snail fest) just made the story more complicated and end with a dimensional shift that you'll never see coming.

Annasui. Awesome stand and personality. Aside from his discouraging obsession with Jolyne, I think he's a cool guy for fighting only for Jolyne's sake. Also, see that misleading visuals? Who would've thought that beauty is a 'he.'

Ermes. First Jolyne supporter and most loyal prison buddy. Even though there's still no animation for Part 6, I can tell she's one of the characters who will belong to the 'Human-Reaction-Paper List,' because of her variety of expressions.
