Before his execution, Pirate King Gol D. Roger announces that anyone who can find the treasure called One Piece will be worthy enough to take on his title. This triggered the rising of a new generation of Pirates.
Among these rookies is a boy named Monkey D. Luffy, who plans to follow Roger's footsteps starting with only a straw hat, a small boat, and an elastic body. Along the way he gathers his own crew and a ship that will help them cross the Grand Line to claim the title of "Pirate King."

When people hear One Piece they'd probably go "Ohshiii--- isn't that the long-ass manga/anime that has been going on for decades? Why you watch//read that?" WELL FIRST OF ALL IT'S THE BOMB!!!
How do I even begin to describe this *chef's kiss* MASTERPIECE!?!?
It is one of the pillars of shounen, the foundation of anime, one of them legendary classics.
This manga is sooooo original. Its art style is distinct. Pirate themes have never been this interesting. AND I CAN'T COMPLAIN WHY THIS MANGA IS sOoOooo LONG.
Every adventure is worth looking forward too. I like how Oda made this into one complex, intricate puzzle and still managed to keep the readers hooked. Like... you can't miss an episode or detail, or you'll get lost. Oda made everything essential for the plot starting with the names, even the supporting characters, the name of the location. It's even rich in real-life references from singers, historical events, historical figures, etc.
IDK if this review is comprehensible but I assure you... you're missing out a lot if you don't start reading/watching One Piece.
