Review:
What I love in this manga is that they can illustrate food as deliciously as if they were real. I commend the amount of research dedicated to creating these amazing characters and the variety of cuisine that is shown throughout the series. I also love how all of them are constantly growing to be the better chef versions of themselves, the moment I felt the proudest for them is the part where the new batch became the new Elite Ten.
I only gave it a 4-star because of the shtty ending. Like why tf does it have to end with the Nakiri family drama, I don't give two shts about the bastard son revelation and the picky-eating mom's crippling dilemma, this should be about Soma's journey to be the best. I can only infer that the final arc wasn't thought through.

Favorite character/s:
Yukihira Soma. I like the perseverance and determination of this dude, his curiosity and risk-taking ability that made him loveable.
Isshiki Satoshi. The duality of this guy. He's a buck-naked farmer at the Polar Star Dorm but a respectable No. 7 of the Elite 10 in Tootsuki.
Hayama Akira. Nose genius. I also like his character design. I've always had a thing with chocolatey guys.
Nakiri Alice. Her open-mindedness makes her the best support system.
Kurokiba Ryou. I also like the duality of this guy.
Kobayashi Rindou. Eccentric senpai whose food is as eccentric as her personality.
Mimasaka Subaru. The Kakashi of Food Wars. I like how he makes last-minute changes on his food which technically doesn't count as plagiarism but still...
