Forgive me for the lack of synopsis detail.
To be honest, there is no main character in this series. The story basically revolves around the members of Fairy Tail, its history, the people around Magnolia and whatsoever.
I like the diversity of their powers, the action scenes, and the adventures they went through. Not a single arc bored me since they find ways to introduce new interesting characters every once in a while. The main group also develops greatly in power and skill as the story progresses.
The manga has put a great emphasis on the spirit of nakama. Like every shounen trope - they suddenly get stronger when they are protecting something. I think the Fairy Tail guild is a fun extended family to be with.
