Review:
Top 3 Otomo manga signatures:
1. Very fine building details (be it upright or wrecked)
2. Espers
3. Dystopia
Yes, this piece deserves a MASTER- for a prefix. The art, the concept, the very definition of fine ass. Sadly, I wasn't in the state to fully comprehend the deep symbolism of this (or if ever it had or maybe I'm just too dense) while reading this so I'll just give it a 4-star. I'm amazed with a lot of things in this manga, but I just don't see a reason WHY THE ESPERS AND THE PSYCHIC SHOW-OFF COMPROMISE OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES???
Personally, it would suck if you were just chilling peacefully in your apartment not knowing you'll die from a stray debris that went flying off just because some secretly-esper neighbors decided to have a showdown IN A HEAVILY POPULATED AREA, like, dmn not even an ounce of courtesy.
Anyway, the psychic showdown was LIT. It was a beautiful sight of wreckage.
