Review:

A heart-wrenching story. It may have a bit of exposure in the main series, but this manga explains it with more depth.

In this manga, we see Mavis, Makarov's father, and some of the 'Greatest Wizards' who made an appearance in Fairy Tail in their younger years. We get to see why "friendship" has been their theme and foundation and we also get a glimpse of the sht ton sacrifices that were made for the guild and a side dish of mind-boggling plot twists.
