I just got out of my last class at five in the afternoon and the next thing I did was to grab my phone, reading the unread messages from Momo.

Unknown number | 4:47 pm
Change of plans, Nana. Dad wants to see you but he can't leave the office. Is it okay if we have dinner here at the company?

Unknown number | 4:47pm
This is Momo btw

Unknown number | 4:49pm
He offered to buy us some dinner in and maybe talk a bit with you. How 'bout that?

I got an uneasy feeling as I read her first text. Am I ready to face Lukard after all this time? What will he say once he sees me? Is it going to be bad ? These were the things that came in my mind once I read the texts.

I sighed to myself, replying a quick okay to Momo and that I'll be at Chou Enterprises before six. I then quickly said my goodbyes to Yeri, Jeongyeon and Nayeon as the four of us went our separate ways.

I entered my white Toyota Vios 2014 which I got for only half its original price since it was a second hand from one of my dad's best friends. I didn't want to spend too much money for my college car since I don't want to keep buying material things. My family's new home, Gwen's tuition, my tuition, this car, and my parents car were all too much already. I didn't want to spend another single penny just because I can. You can't take things for granted especially when you have it all.

Next thing I know was that I was driving down to Chou Enterprises and then I was silently sitting in front of Momo and Lukard in a private room located inside the building with fancy lunches solely for the three of us.

After I hugged both Momo and Lukard lightly, we were suddenly surrounded by silence as we ate our food. No one even bothered to talk or make the first move.

Momo had been moving around in her seat, making it obvious that this meeting with me was awkward for her while Lukard had a serious face but sad eyes. I was lowkey trying to observe them as the tensed air surrounded us.

Lukard then looked up.

"She said she almost went crazy," he barely said as he looked down on his hands, letting go of his silverwares down on the table and then pushing his plate aside.

I took a deep breath but didn't say anything, playing my food with my fork.

"She came back after two months and explained," he whispered, shaking his head lightly. "She said she didn't know why she left you that night but once the door to your room closed, she knew she wanted to stay with you... but she couldn't, she didn't know why. She couldn't force herself to stay, she knew she has to leave- those were exactly her words,"

Another silence surrounded us as tears stung my eyes but refusing to fall. She doesn't matter anymore , I tried convincing myself. This was just supposed to be a small 'getting together' after a long time, nothing else.

Momo cleared her throat awkwardly before pushing her plate aside. She then grabbed something from her bag on the floor before pushing the white envelope in front of me.

I released a breath nervously before asking her, "What's this?" I looked at her in the eyes.

She smiled sadly. "Dad and I thought that it was best if you knew what really happened to Tzuyu and why she had been acting and behaving so differently,"

"I thought you said to me that it was because of the accident and her... mom... that's why she became like that,"

"Yes that's true, but it's not the whole truth," she said in a sympathetic tone.
