Chapter 25

"Do I have a mother?"

"Yeah, but ah.. she passed away." The blonde haired male said as he slowly released himself from their hug and then faced forward only to stare at the wall.

"W-What happened to her?" (Name) stuttered, she knows that this was a sensitive subject to him, but she needed to know this. She had always wondered about her parents.

"..." Urek Mazino hesitated to tell the (h/c) girl. He was afraid that she'll blame herself because of what happened to her own mother. The two stayed silent for a while.

Just a moment ago they were happy but now, the room feels so depressing. (Name) would bear anything just to know her family, when she was in the cage, she would dream of atleast having a family. She'd already be happy even with just a glimpse of them, but now, this blonde man sitting beside her was her father, real or not she'd accept him. She's that desperate for a family.

"She.. Your mother died because of child birth. Her body couldn't handle bearing a child." Urek paused for a second. (Name) stayed silent and attentive to him.

"The doctor said that we should chose on whether who to save, the child or the mother. At first I said that we should save the mother, I.. really loved her.. (Name), I'm sorry." The man in front of (Name) doesn't look like this the ever famous and powerful irregular, for her, he looked lonely.

"It's fine.." The (h/c) haired girl softly smiled as she said this, she rubbed circles in his back as she tried to comfort him. The girl didn't get mad at his statement for it was natural on wanting to save the one you love, she knew this but.. she didn't get the chance to save them-- no, it was because she was too weak.

Before continuing, Urek let out a long sigh. "Your mother wanted you to be alive, so in the end, we chose you. I even made a promise to her that I'd give you the happiest life, and I failed that." Urek's voice was a bit breathy as he said this.

"You can do that promise now that I'm here."

"You know, you remind me of your mother." The red eyed man now smiled as he looked at his daughter.

"How?" (Name) was truly eager to know more about her mother.

"Well, you both have that wild hair and eye color. Surely, that awesome looking red one came from me." The blonde haired man now had a large grin in his face as he pointed at his 'awesome' red eyes. (Name) couldn't helo but release a small laugh because of his humor.

It was nice finally meeting my father. A family.

"By the way, what'd you did to this kid?"(Name) father looked at the snoring Shibisu as he pointed a finger at him.

Oh. Him.

"Hey Khun, why does (Name) doesn't seem to remember us?" The black haired male asked Khun as he stared at the closed door where (Name) and Urek Mazino walked through.

"It's probably the workshop's doing." The light blue haired male was about to reply at Bam's question, but was beaten to it by Hatz.

"Yeah." Khun couldn't help but just agree to Hatz. Rak's sound of munching on chocolate bars can be heard in the background. They decided to break this conversation because (Name) was the only one who could answer this.

"You guys wanna play again?" The green lizard said as she waved the controller in her hand.

"I'm in." Hatz immediately said when he heard the word 'play'. Shibisu introduced him to a game called Mario Kart, and he instantly became hooked with it.

Bam shook his head and Khun just sighed at Hatz. Bam wanted to immediately greet (Name) and ask how she is. The others left to watch the game while the black haired male stayed behind and wait for the (h/c) haired girl to open the door like a cute puppy.

Unbeknownst to Bam, the blue haired male was still behind him, staring at the back of his head.

"Bam." Khun said as he held the black haired male by his shoulders. Bam, couldn't help but flinch at this, he didn't notice that Khun there.

Suddenly, Khun walked to the couch, still holding Bam by the shoulder and then pushed him to sit down on the plush couch. "You can wait for her here." Khun emphasised the word 'wait' when he spoke to Bam.

"Do you some more milk?" Bam just drank one earlier but having another one wouldn't hurt.

The others looked at the two, and sweat dropped. The two looked just like a mother and baby.

"BAHAHAHAHA YOUR'RE LIKE A PARENT, BLUE TURTLE!" Rak yelled and at the same time Khun's became flushed. The others laughed at the scene before them, mostly Endorssi's and Hatz' was the loudest.

"Shut up, you stupid gator!" The blue haired male's face was red from embarrassment as the others continued laughing hysterically. Khun stomped his way to the kitchen to get his child-- I mean Bam another glass of milk.

Just as Khun poured the milk to the glass cup, the door that Bam was waiting for to open has finally opened.
