Norman was in the bedroom with his change of clothes were already laid out on the bed as he went through his drawers and stop seeing an old string telephone.

This made him smile as he gently took it in his hands ad started to recall the memory he would always cherished.

It was the month of December and little Norman was laid in one of the beds in the infirmary room with a towel on top of his forehead  as he let out coughs.

Beside him was Isabella who check the thermometer to see that Norman had a cold.

"Another cold...no snow ball fights for you" Isabella said to him as he let out a sad groan.

The infirmary door was then put up a sign hanging by the handle of the door saying ' Do No Enter'. Which was put by Isabella who didn't want the other kids to catch Norman's cold.

"Norman can't play anymore?" Emma ask as you an the others were standing in front of the infirmary room

"Not until he gets better" Isabella said

"When is that??" You ask looking up at mom while tilting your head

"It will take sometime [Y/n] will just have to wait and see, which means I don't want any of you in the infirmary for a while understand?" She instructed

"Yes Mom!" All of you said.

Sometime later Norman had just laid there in bed sadly, but that was until a tuff of orange and platinum silver hair pop up at the end of his bed as it revealed to be you and Emma.

"Boo!" You two yelled with giant smiles.

"A-Ah! E-Emma!? [Y-Y/n]!?" Norman said surprised as he turn away from you two afraid that the both of you will catch his cold.

"We came to visit!" Emma said as she flop down on top  the blanket looking at Norman as you grin and nodded your head in agreement.

"Y-yeah but mom said not too" Norman said coughing as he had heard what happened by the door earlier.

"Yeah we know she did, but your all by yourself when you get sick like this" Emma started 

" We thought you might be lonely" You chirped as you sat on the chair that Isabella was sitting earlier.

"We'll do the talking so you don't have too!!" Emma informed as she sat beside Norman's bed grinning "Is that okay?"

"You guys can't stay here, you'll catch my cold" Norman persisted but Emma continued to smile at him.

"That's not true! We were told we will never get sick!" Emma stated pointing at you and herself proudly as you nodded your head in agreement  while Norman stared at the two of you in amazement

But you both flinch as you both hear Isabella's voice who had just enter the room "[Y/n], Emma when did you two sneak in here?"

She walk up inside and look at you two as she put a hand on her hip "Careful or you two will get sick too"

"Don't worry Mom! Ray said we'd be fine!" you chirp making Isabella confuse. "What?"

And as if he was summoned by you, Ray was already standing by the door not entering the room with a book in his hand .

"This book said that idiots don't get sick"

Isabella let out a deep sigh as she then grab both yours ad Emma's hand  and started to lead you guys out of the room.

"Regardless the two of you can't be in here Emma, [y/n]. The two of you can play with him once his better, do you two understand?"

"Yes Mom" You and Emma sadly said as she close the door leaving Norman alone in the infirmary once again.

He twist and turn trying to get a comfortable position in bed and tried to sleep, but the laughter and snowballs from outside made him slightly frown.

Then at the corner of his eye he saw a flash of orange and silver and when he turn to see what it was, both you and Emma had pop out scaring him.

"Ahhh!!!"

"We're back!!!"

"Emma, [y/n] you two can't be here" Norman spoke between his coughs

"Here!! For you!!" Emma said placing the cup beside him, Norman turn around and saw it as he got confused.

"A cup?"

"Ray taught us how to make it!! Isn't it cool!?" You chirp

"Oh~! Emma~! [Y/n]~!" Isabela sang from behind you two making both you and Emma flinch.

The two of you were then picked up by her, upside down as the both of you tried to wiggle away as Isabella grunted.

"You two really don't how to give up do you?"

As Isabella was carrying the both of you out Emma manage to tell out "He said we would be able to talk using this string phone!!"

As the both of you were place outside of the room again, Norman curiously look at the cup and press it on his ear, to his surprise he heard Emma's voice.

"Are you there??"

This made him gasp as a smile broke out on his face.

"Norman can you hear us?" This time it was your voice.

From outside, both you and Emma were waiting for a reply and not a second later you guys heard his voice.

"Yeah! Loud and clear!"

This made both you and Emma cheer as you look at Ray "Ray!!" You happily called out 

Ray look up from his book as he turn his attention to you and couldn't help to let out a small smile seeing the giant grin on your face.

"How cool!!"

"We can now talk even though were out here!!"

"Hurray!!!!!!"

Both you and Emma cheered as Ray look at you two and stated "You know, if you two keep yelling like that he won't even need the string phone"

"Oh you're right!" Emma said as you giggled.

The two of you laugh as Norman who had heard it from all the way inside the room couldn't help but laugh too.
