Claire

"Claire I-"

I ignored him as I walked over to Jeongin by the stage. He was back from his mission and was a bit exhausted.

"What's wrong with Jisung hyung?" He noticed how Jisung got annoying since I got into school. Practice ended in an hour. I had to catch up with my quiz later. The squirrel had to tail me down to my next class.

"I'm really sorry! For real! I didn't mean to!" Jisung stopped me from entering my class. He was persistent and terribly annoying when he does this. "It was Changbin hyung's fault!" He explained it quickly before I got inside. I sat down and slapped my face to forget what happened on that Sunday night or early morning.

That event was a mess.

flashback.

"Jisung!"

I woke up from a yell. Chan needs to add more soundproof walls so he won't disturb anyone in the house. I sat up and walked towards the door. "Will you guys shut up!" It was around 2:25 in the morning and I'm not having people yelling at that hour. I stepped out with my eye half closed, I saw a figure walking slowly towards me.

"Can you tell Chan to lower down. I'm sleeping."

"Yeah, sure thing Clai-" He moved forward as if something pushed him from the back.

It felt warm and soft on my lips then it hit me. Jisung was on my face—he's on my lips. "Hey, I found a penny—oh.." Changbin was behind him and his smile vanished as soon he saw what he shouldn't supposed to witness.

I pushed the male and ran away as fast as I can. "Claire!" I ignored their calls and went straight for my bike. I cycled fast towards the ice cream parlor. "What the fuck!" I got so flustered of what just happened that I ignored a freaking stone and landed near the bushes in front of the ice cream parlor. My body hurts so bad as I landed on the concrete.

"Miss—Claire?" And that was when an unexpected friend helped me, Felix.

end of flashback.

"I can't deal with that, I have classes." I reminded myself that I'm in school and I need to pull myself together. The practices and classes were slowly taking a toll on me. I should take a break from one practice and yeah a cup of large mango swirl too. The class ended after the professor left another set of readings. I sighed as I kept my belongings in my bag.

"Isn't that the fairy looking guy from the chef's club?" One of the girls in this class whispered.

Fairy? Who could that be?

"Hey Claire." Felix stood at the doorstep with a plastic box in his hands. I took my bag and walked towards him. "Sup." I greeted him. He placed the plastic box on both of my hands. "I tested another recipe." He coughs as he looks away from me.

"Brownies?" I smiled at the delight. "You're always up to something, Felix." I gave him a friendly punch as usual. "Could you stop that?" He frowns as he rubs his arm. He should be immune by now, I mean I've been hitting him since primary school. "Don't be such a baby Yongbok." His face went red as soon he heard his name, he hates it.

"It's Felix." He corrected, keeping his cool composure.

"Whatever but thanks for the brownies." I chuckled as we walked together down the halls. Jeongin wasn't happy about it but he remained cheerful as usual. "You can stop glaring at me, Jeongin." Felix was uncomfortable with the setting at the lunch tables.

"I'm not." The younger smiled but it had a threatening aura behind. They should sort out their bad blood soon. Jeongin might be all cheery and caring as a person but he's just too off when he's not in the mood with someone he doesn't like is around. I opened up the plastic box and the fresh aroma just went into my nostrils. It's gotta be good, the scent is too addicting already.

I took a bite before slicing a piece and shove it into Jeongin's mouth.

"Mmhat?" He looked at me weirdly as he began chewing. He was still glaring at Felix but gradually his expression changed. "You okay?" I asked him and I heard sniffs.

"I-It's good." Jeongin mumbled, sniffing back.

"I thought so! I would also cry but I don't cry easily." I'm just crying inside right now, it's too damn good. I wanna know who taught Felix. The texture and flavor was something else.

"I can bake for you if you just asked, Jeongin." Felix shyly told the younger.

"Huh?! You made these?" The shock spread on his face like wild fire.

"He did. It's really good, Lix!" I shot him a thumbs up. Felix got all embarrassed about it.

"It's.. delicious.." Jeongin looked at Felix. "..hyung."

"Oh? I'm doing other desserts but soon. I have music assignments piled up on my desk." Felix explained his schedule. He had barely time to cook or bake this time but his brownies were worth it.

The younger pouted and sighed. "Okay. I'll wait."

That time, I knew they were slowly mending their friendship. Felix's eyes glimmered in hope even though he barely showed emotions, he was getting back on his feet.
