Ch. 46 🖤 YOU'RE NOT ALONE 🖤

(BACK TO PRESENT - Author's POV)

"Tell me, Milet. Are you hundred percent sure that this Mina girl is useful to me?" Seulgi asked.

"Well... I think she is even if it's just a little. You can use her." Milet told feeling guilty  from inside.

"Thanks, Milet. Like I promised, once I get my revenge on that  person, I'll let your parents go and then you are free to do whatever you wish." Seulgi said being honest while giving her a sincere smile.

That was the reason why Milet was cooperating with the Korean Vampire Queen, because her parents' lives were in hands of Seulgi. She could anytime kill her parents if she went against her.

And, as for Mina, she was the only key, the only person who could lead Seulgi to that unknown person she was waiting to get her revenge on.

"Mina!" Sehun went to hug her when he saw her awake. He embraced her in a comforting hug although she didn't respond much.

"I'm sorry... I saw everything. I don't want you to suffer anymore. I will never leave your side now." He mumbled feeling sad.

"Sehun... Kill me." She said with no emotions. "It's unbearable... I had forgotten... that I was someone who never deserved to live... I'm already a dead person so why not kill me for real?"

"Mina... You're wrong..."

"Leave me alone." She said with a barely audible voice.

She avoided Sehun after then, shutting herself in that room, making everyone worried for her and now, they all came to meet her.

"No matter how hard I tried, she didn't open the door. She locked herself completely. I don't know how to convince her anymore." Sehun informed his friends with a sad voice.

"Let's go and try again. Actually no, let me  try." Chanyeol said as he stood up from the sofa.

"What makes you think she will open up the door? She wouldn't." Sehun stated.

Chanyeol still went to her room and knocked on the door. "Mina-ssi! Please open the door!" He called out while Sehun and the others peeked from the corner to see what was going to happen.

"Will she open it?" Baekhyun asked, whispering.

"I don't think so." Sehun replied.

"Min-" Chanyeol was cut off when Mina surprisingly opened the door.

"She really opened it!" Baekhyun said in disbelief, eyeing at Sehun who was clearly jealous.

Dumbfounded, Baekhyun was.

Chanyeol looked down at her gloomy face. "Hey... Can we talk?" He asked.

Thanks to Chanyeol, Mina stopped starving herself and avoiding Sehun but her mind was still thinking about the past and she couldn't feel better but miserable.

"Mina...?" Sehun tensed up, not finding her anywhere inside the house. He had a bad feeling about it.

"Mina... Why...?" He rushed outside to find her, hoping for her safety wherever she went to.

You're not alone, Mina. There are people who need you to be present in their life... So please, don't die!
