She couldn't keep her eyes off them as they entered the basement one by one. She'd seen good looking men before but not quite like these men. This men are literally drop dead gorgeous!
Bawat isa sa kanila ay may kanya kanyang angking kagwapuhan at kakisigan na agad agad mapapansin ng kahit sino mang mapapatingin sa gawi ng mga ito.
But aside from those good qualities, there is just something about them that makes anyone who sees them do a double take. And it's not because of the good looking face or the hot body but because of the dangerous aura they exude— something that borders on lethality.
"I wouldn't dare mess with them..." Connor gasped. Napalingon siya dito. There was amazement and awe in his tone as he watched the men settle their duffle bags on the couch. "I mean, sure, alam kong ibang level ang ka-gwapuhan ni boss Mason at boss Chase pero... damn..."
Harley scoffed at Connor. "Tss. So? Should we start ranking them now like in a fucking beauty pageant?" His tone laced with sarcasm.
"Well. Good luck with that." Singit naman ni Decker sa usapan ng dalawa. "You'll be having a very long... deliberation." Anito habang ang mga mata'y nakatuon pa din sa baril na kasalukuyang nililinis.
"You should help them." Nakangising baling niya dito.
"Nah, I'm good. 'Sides, I like having my eyes on women, not on a bunch of good looking men." Nakangiwing sagot ni Decker sa kanya. "You should help them."
"Chase will be number one, of course."
"Tsk. Thought so." Ngisi ni Connor sa kanya. "Hay... if only I could have one of those faces... damn..."
"May asawa ka na, ulol!"
Connor chuckled. "Still, if I were to choose—"
"Eherm!"
Napabaling sila sa pinagmulan ng tikhim na iyon. There, Mason stood behind them with his head held high. Ang mga mata'y mariing nakatutok kay Connor.
"I'm sure you'd choose the most obvious answer to that question, right my dear employee who's working under my company and who's salary is being paid by yours truly?" He asked Connor in a sickly sweet voice that almost made her laughing outloud.
Connor blinked at Mason twice. "Er... O-of course, boss! Syempre naman walang tatalo sa gandang lalaki ninyo 'no!" Itinaas nito ang hintuturo. "Kayo ang number one. Pramis!"
"Sipsip." Harley coughed.
Mason puffed his chest. Tila hindi narinig ang sinabi mi Harley. "Alam ko naman iyon kahit hindi mo sabihin, Connor, mahal kong empleyado." Mayabang na turan nito.
She chuckled. Seriously? Mas petty pa ata si Mason kesa sa sixteen year old niyang sarili noon. May mas immature at childish pa pala siyang makikilala na ganito ang edad!
Lumapit sa grupo nila ang mga bagong dating matapos makipag-usap ang mga ito kay Chase.
Chase snaked his arm around her waist. Hinapit siya nito at saka hinalikan sa sentido. Hindi naman nakaligtas sa paningin niya ang tinginan ng mga kaibigan nito sa iginawi ng kanyang asawa.
"Babe, these are my friends— Aiden, Nick and Cole. Guys, this is my wife, Cayenne."
Isang ngiti ang ibinigay niya sa mga ito bago tinanggap isa isa ang pakikipag-kamay nila. "Thank you for coming here to help. And I'm sorry Mason had to drag you guys here for this."
Ngumiti si Aiden sa kanya. "It's no big deal, Cayenne. Chase is our friend, of course we will come running to his rescue."
"Tsk. Who's rescuing who?" Chase mumbled.
