So she had lied to everyone about being missing. She even gave trouble to her mother by pretending to be gone, while she was hiding in an old, quiet house all this time, that was beginning of the limit she was ready to go to break Ladybug.
She was extremely satisfied because she was able to get Hawk Moth on her side. Now Ladybug would be crushed like the little bug she is. Lila did not only plan to destroy Ladybug, but she desperately wanted to know who she is. Marinette was missing too, from around the time Ladybug went missing, but there was absolutely no way that she could be Ladybug. Lila admitted that Ladybug was confident, while Marinette? She was as clumsy as anyone could be. Marinette being missing was just a coincidence. Lila didn't even care about what happened to Marinette.
Hawk Moth had promised to akumatize her the same night and she would stalk Cat Noir and Viperion.
While returning, she saw Alya, Nino, Luka and Adrien sitting in the park. They all looked pretty gloomy, but Lila decided to go and talk to them anyway.
"Hello guys!" She began.
"Hello." Said Alya.
"Hi Lila."
Adrien just nodded and Luka acted as if he didn't see her.
Lila was kind of interested in Luka. He was the only person who seemed to resent her as much as Marinette. Even Adrien knew how Lila had lied, but now she was putting a nice act in front of him, so that she could get to his good side. Adrien always acted nice and gentle anyway.
"I hope you are all fine. With Marinette gone... I know Marinette did not Like me, but I will always have a soft spot for her, like I do for everyone." She said, looking at Adrien. Everyone smiled at her, but not Luka. She frowned.
"Luka. I know you were very close to Marinette, and I also know that you don't like me. Marinette must have told you something horrible about me." Then she looked at Adrien again, "How I lie... But I don't. Thanks to Adrien, I have realized how important friends are in someone's life."
"Yes Luka, give Lila a chance..." Alya said and Luka completely ignored her.
"What have I ever done which is so bad?!" Lila reached for Luka's hand, but he pulled it away and looked the other side.
"Well, maybe you don't want to talk to me, but if you need any sort of help, tell me." Lila said and started to walk away.
"Dude!" Nino exclaimed, "That was harsh!"
"I know that was harsh and I don't care! You want me to talk to her?! No way, I loath her and I don't know what you see in her, despite Marinette's warnings!"
Lila was not for away, she had heard everything. She turned back and said, "I am sorry for anything I have ever done, unintentionally, which hurt you and Marinette."
Luka looked as if he was about to burst.
"I just want to know Lila, that how on earth did you manage to escape and Ladybug couldn't? She is a superhero so obviously, you are lying. Again! I don't believe a word you say, you are a brat!" Then Luka stormed away.
Everybody was surprised.
"Oh!"Lila said with fake tears glistening in her eyes, "He hates me! What have I done?!" And then she ran away too.

The same night, Lila was not surprised to see an akuma coming towards her. She smiled and let the akuma enter her fake miraculous.
"Hello Hawk Moth." She said.
"Volpina." Came Hawk Moth's voice, "Working with you has always been my pleasure, buy now my villain, there is no time to waste. The heroes are searching for their leader, Ladybug, you do the same, but start with stalking the heroes themselves."
"Happily." Lila replied. Then she transformed into Volpina.

By the time she reached the roof of her house, she could already see the two heroes on the roof of a distant house.
"There they are..."
