11. Marauders Reunite - 2

PREVIOUSLY IN - MIRROR OF ERISED

Remus and Sirius get to know that James and Lily alive.

"Prongs. Tiger Lily." Whispered a shocked Sirius. "Pads, Moony." was all that a grinning James managed to say before he was tackled to the floor by his two best mates. "Oi! I exist too." Said an annoyed yet grinning Lily. The marauders (Not including Peter anymore) helped each other up and pulled Lily into their hug. "Prongsie! Tiger Lily! I missed you two so much." Said Sirius. "So did I." said Remus. Both had unshed tears in their eyes.

Sirius was about to apologise when they broke from their hug. James saw that coming and raised his hand. "Don't Sirius. It wasn't your fault. None of us knew that Peter was the traitor." Said James in a very firm, no nonsense voice. "And Remus, I know that you would've tried to get Harry's custody. But knowing how corrupt the Ministry was back then, they wouldn't allow you to, despite our Will. It's okay."

"Does Harry know about you two?" asked Sirius, who was looking desperate to see his godson. "Yes, he does. But before you meet him, we want you to meet four more people." Said Lily. "There are more people who have returned?" asked a shocked Remus. The couple nodded and James went to get the older couples. First was Rose and William Evans. The Marauders knew them very well as they had gone to their house for many lunches and dinners after graduation till their unfortunate demise at the hands of a group of death eaters.

They were even more shocked at this. The old couple, not wanting to break the news about Charlus and Dorea yet, came away from the bed and towards the four others. Remus and Sirius gave them a huge hug each. "Nice to see you again, Mr. and Mrs. Evans." Said Remus. They pulled back and smiled. "Same here." Said Rose. "This is not over, you two." Said William. "You heard James telling four. We're two of them. The other two..." They parted to show Charlus and Dorea standing by the curtains. "Charlie, Rea." Whispered Sirius. The Potter Patriarch and Matriarch met Sirius and Remus midway for the comforting hug they had always given them.

"Is this all real? Or am I just dreaming?" asked a flabbergasted Sirius, after they parted. James just came forward and smacked Sirius on the backside of the dog animagus' head. "Oww! Jeez Prongs. That hurts." Exclaimed Sirius. "And that means it's real. So will you just shut up and meet Harry? He's been talking my ear off asking about you two."
