28. Hogsmeade - 2

PREVIOUSLY IN - MIRROR OF ERISED

The group of friends start shopping in Hogsmeade.

Upon entering Hogsmeade, Fred and George cornered the Marauders. "What's wrong boys?" asked Remus. "We know that you're the Marauders." Fred and George in unison. "We first knew only your nicknames, Moony, Padfoot and Prongs when we found the way to use your Marauders Map. It was only today that we got to know that it was the three of you. Harry informed us of that when we told him of the map." Said Fred, with George nodding beside his twin. "You two found the map?" asked Sirius. "Yes. Nicked it from Filch's office in our first year." they said.

"I see that it's gone to capable hands. Shall we tell you a few tricks that we used when we were in school?" asked James. The twins looked as though Christmas had come in early. They nodded and went with the three. The other kids told them about joining the twins with their pranks from now on. This made James, Sirius and Remus suggest various prank products that they could use. The owner of the store too suggested a few prank ideas for the kids to implement.

The group of pranksters were satisfied when they checked out and exited the store. They noticed that the rest of their families were waiting for them near Honeydukes and went towards them. All of them then split into several groups and went to several shops.

Time Skip to after meeting up in front of the Three Broomsticks,

"Thank you for inviting all of us." said Arthur. Molly and his children nodded from his sides. "Oh, Come on. You're close friends." Said Charlus, waving off their thank you. They then used Rosemarta's private floo and went back to the Burrow. The others too flooed back to their respective manors to get some rest. James unshrunk the prank items and other things that they had got for Harry before flooing to the Leaky Cauldron with Lily and Sirius so that they can go muggle world.

Harry used this time to sort out his clothes and books to their respective places into his closet and bookshelves. He then placed the rolls of parchment, quills and inkwells on the shelf near the desk. He hung the Gryffindor Banner above the couch in his room. The Broom Decal was placed on the wall near the bed. The posters were stuck on the wall on which the couch was placed against.

Charlus and Dorea saw what their grandson was doing and went inside. Harry saw them coming in and greeted them. "Hey Papa. Hey Gran. How do you feel about my room now?" he asked as he waved his hand around. "Way better now. I have another idea. Shall I show it to you?" asked Charlus. "Sure." Charlus turned to the wall on which the entryway to the room was fixed on and conjured a life like lion, which was charmed to move across the walls of the room. When it came to life, it gave a roar and jumped around.

Harry walked towards the wall to have a closer look. The lion too came closer out of curiosity. It purred in content when Harry rubbed his hand over its nose. "It's brilliant, Papa." Said Harry and hugged his grandparents. The old couple grinned and hugged him. They sat on the either side of Harry on his bed and put an arm each around his shoulder. "Harry, we'll tell you something. If you're stuck with something, or have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask anyone. I know that you're not used to that due to the Dursleys. But now, it's different, okay?" said Dorea. "Yes gran, I know. I will ask." said Harry earnestly.

The old couple smiled and got up. Charlus ruffled his hair. "Papa, don't do that. It's already crazy and I don't want to mess my hair more." groaned Harry. His grandparents laughed and went out of the room to allow Harry to put away more of his stuff.
