"I tend to give the new musicians a tour of the producing studio. It gives you a feel of how the music you'll play will go with the song." The producer said as he motioned for her to sit. It was officially Aera's first day.

She would officially start her recording tomorrow but today she would be introduced to how things worked and she would meet the artist. To say the least, she was excited.

"After you play the instruments. We'll usually implement the lyrics and then it's up to the artist to record with their vocals." The girl nodded politely. She already knew the process that went into making music but nonetheless listened intently to him.

"One thing that we don't usually plan and can be a pain to you is when the artist wants to change something while listening to the demo." He made a face to express how stressful that could be to which she chuckled.

"Does it happen often?" She curiously asked while letting her eyes briefly roam around the studio.

"Not typically but we do have a few artists." He seemed to be thinking of a specific name to which she could only patiently wait to hear.

"You know NCT right?" She nodded immediately thinking about her twin but refrained from mentioning his name. She had promised to keep him out of conversations since she wanted to be known for purely her talent. She didn't want any special treatment.

"Haechan usually always likes to put a bit of his own style into songs. We usually don't have to record a new instrumental or beats but we've had to rearrange a demo before." The producer exaggeratedly talked with his hands.

"That kid is something. Thankfully it always ends up benefiting the song." Aera couldn't help but imagine the boy nagging about certain parts in the song. She almost laughed out loud at the image.

"Hopefully that won't happen to you." They both chuckled. Aera was grateful she was being welcomed into a good atmosphere. She had feared that people would be intimidating and would treat her rudely because she was so young. Thankfully she had gotten a few compliments and comments on her passed performances. They seemed to acknowledge her talent and that made up for her age.

A sudden knock caused them both to look towards the door. The producer spun fully around in his chair and stood up to open the door.

"I'm sorry for bothering but can I re-record the last two lines from the bridge." Aera could recognize the voice right away even though he was hidden by the producer's tall frame.

"This is what I mean." The producer said as he turning around and jokingly rolled his eyes. Aera couldn't help but laugh at the inside joke they shared.

The boy entered the studio half confused at what he had meant. He froze momentarily once he had seen the girl. She couldn't help but look away from him. She could hear him enter the recording room but she still avoided making eye contact with the boy.

"Okay let's make this quick Haechan-ssi." The producer took his seat and started working around with buttons.

After they had successfully finished adjusting the lines. The producer was called for an urgent matter. He waved at the two before leaving them in the studio. An awkward silence took over the place once he had left.

The girl was told to stay in the studio where the artist she'll be working with would come by. Haechan was still fumbling around in the recording room. He was flipping through the sheets of paper containing the lyrics with a concentrated look on his face.

"You did well." Aera voiced out to which she received no response. She instantly felt dumb. However, after a few more seconds she wished he would relax. She could see the evident stress on his face as he silently mumbled the lyrics to himself.
