Chapter 31 - Husband & Wife

D-day. Early at dawn, when no one is awake yet, Jimin slips out from Seulgi's bed quietly. He tucks her in and bends down to give her a sweet peck on the forehead before he goes to his own bedroom. He is super tired and he needs a sleep, even only a short one. It only takes a few second, once he lays on his bed and pulls the blanket, he immediately falls asleep. An hour later, Seojoon and Minjae already barge in and mercilessly wake him up. He whines but the hyungs just drag him off of bed. He gets pushed to the bathroom by his two brothers and a moment before he closes the door, he hisses at them playfully. Right, after all he has no choice but to get ready for his wedding day. Those words hit hard and make his heart beats real fast. No way, he is nervous, extremely.

Next door, Seulgi is already out from the shower, fresh and ready to get her make up done. She sits in front of dressing table which is fully occupied by various kinds and shades of make up. Professional make up artist and hairdresser skillfully work and slowly turn her into a beautiful bride. Start from grandma to the aunties to her sister in law and Minyoung eonnie, everybody comes and visits. They are probably extra curious and excited to see the bride final look. It makes her happy but of course she is also very nervous. Her heart nearly explodes of excitement and it's really hard to control. Joohyun, who decides to stay by her side, is aware of it. She smiles and chuckles a little. She knows that feeling and one gentle gesture is going to help, so she reaches out her hand and holds Seulgi's one as she slightly squeezes it.

"Take a deep breath, everything will be perfect" Joohyun gives a reassuring smile.

"Eonnie, thank you so much" Seulgi is grateful.

It doesn't take long. A simple and natural make up is a fit to complement Seulgi's beauty. Her long hair is in a classic braided half-up, half-down style with baby's breath blooms out of the intertwined tendrils. No veil, no crown, there is only the dreamy tiny flower that completes her hairstyle but it's just ethereally flawless. Thereafter, she gets a help to wear her mermaid wedding dress. The white dress hugs her body perfectly. The chantilly lace pattern on the sleeves and the detail on the back, everything is finely pretty. After she slips on her white beaded flat shoes, she carefully walks closer to the full body mirror and stares at her own reflection. She is speechless. She feels beautiful.

"Wow" Seulgi is in an awe.

As Seulgi admires herself, there is a knock on the door. Joohyun quickly gets it just to find Jimin there, already gallantly handsome and charming with his comma hair and presentable tux. He smiles as he tries to peek in. Instinctively, she blocks his sight, scolds him and shoos him away as groom is not supposed to see his bride before the ceremony. It brings a frown into his face but the next second, he pleads and promises that he only needs a glimpse of Seulgi. It's not working. His soon to be sister in law ignores him and calls her husband and Seojoon to bring him away. He pouts as he scrunches his nose at her and then gives in as he lets his brothers drag him away.

'Right, I guess I'll just meet her at the end of the aisle'

Guests who are literally family members and close relatives, are already seated. A low conversation is heard but once the head of wedding ceremony, Seojoon's father, comes to the podium, everybody stops talking. A greeting and a welcoming word from Seojoon's father officially starts the ceremony. It is then followed by beautiful melodies of classical string instruments as the groom, Jimin, begins to walk dashingly down the aisle that is filled with white flower petals. He is nervous but hides it well as he bows slightly and smiles confidently to the guests. He reaches the circle wedding backdrop and immediately turns around to face the aisle. Heart thumps hard as he stands there and waits for his bride. Anticipation and excitement build up as Seojoon's father announces Seulgi's grand entrance.
