Chanyeol's POV.

Sung Mi Young's father was declared dead, the next morning. It was also said to us yesterday that he won't last long. He's too weak already and have already signed a do-not-resuscitate form. I guess he himself already knew his time is about to come.

His death was all over the news. Sung Mi Young doesn't seem to look fine. She doesn't look sad either. I can't tell what she's feeling. She still go to work and would just sit on her swivel chair inside her office all day. Maybe somehow respecting her father's death.

After two uneventful days. The funeral was held. Ms.Lee Rin asked Mi Young to come but she still refused. The media is starting to look for her, questioning her absence on her own father's funeral. Their family is indeed a big name. The feud between Sung Mi Young and her dad resurfaced. I have known that the media is aware of their rivalry in terms of business.
They carry the same surname but would not act as they should be. They are both well known for being monsters on the business industry and also for being a broken family.

Mi Young not attending the funeral only made the issue worse. Some articles started labeling her as an ungrateful daughter. Accusing her without knowing the whole story.
She was being chased by paparazzi, bombarding her with questions she obviously doesn't want to answer. Forcing her to release a statement regarding the issue. But ofcourse she's the almighty Sung Mi Young and no one can make her talk.

I leaned on my door frame as I stare at the small screen that shows the outside--which is Mi Young's door. I stayed for a few minutes in hopes that she'll go outside or what but she didn't. I was about to turn around when her door opened. She's wearing an all black outfit. Where is she going?

I immediately ran towards my room and took my sweater. I waited for about a minute before opening my door. She entered the elevator as soon as I went outside. I impatiently pressed the elevator button outside as I waited for it to announce that she have already reached the lobby. The door opened and I quickly entered.

She's on her way on her car when I got there. I hid behind a van when she suddenly turned her gaze back... probably sensing my presence. I let out a breath of relief when she continued walking and hopped on her car then drove off. I ran towards my car and followed her. where is this woman going late at night?

I don't know where she's going. I just patiently trailed her. It was not that far though. I stayed not far away where she parked her car. My heart soften as soon as I recognized the place. She'll visit her dad.

I left my car and trailed her, still hiding. She entered the columbarium. It was actually scary since it was dark.
This woman is sure fearless. I watched her as she stood in front of the vase of her father's ash. I leaned on my back and hid behind the wall not far away from her.

"Aren't you too unfair?" she started talking. "Why did you die early? I haven't even dragged you down completely. I'm on my way, you should've wait a little longer." her voice was low, but it echoed since it's too silent here. "this is the easiest way out of my revenge...you are smart you old man" she chuckled, but not out of happiness. It was filled with sarcasm.

"I hate you so damn much"

"you deserve to die, but why are you making me feel this way? you did nothing good to me. W-why are you making me feel sorry for your death? I should be happy by now right? w-why can't I?" her voice cracked.

Sung Mi Young. I want to go near her and hug her. She's enduring everything all by herself. I know she is confused of what she's feeling, because she have always seen herself as someone as hard as rock. She can't believe herself feeling a little soft to the person she resented the most.
