You and Draco stayed out on the astronomy tower for the remainder of the day. You two discussed your plans for tonight and how to make sure Draco could get to the room of requirement without any issue It wasn't until nightfall that both of you decided it was much too cold now to stay out and that to do this without error you needed to get back to the common room.  As you two strutted down the hallway you heard giggles and snickers coming from the darkened alcoves.

"Won Won? Really?"

"Absolutely disgusting right?"

Draco scoffed clearly disgusted by the conversation he heard. He tilted his head near your ear and sighed.

"Weasle-Bee has admires now huh?"

You shrugged your shoulders and continued down the hallway. It was dark, and not a mysterious and calming dark. It was a kind of dark that made your heart race and your face turn bright red, making you double check everything you saw out of fear. Something was different about Hogwarts now, the wonder of the school was fading away and was being replaced with fear and restriction. Nearing the common room Draco followed you inside the dimly lit staircase. Nearing the large entry way you placed your lips closely to enchanted door.

"Pure-blood." You intoned and watched as the door slid open letting you in to the green and silver decorated common room.

" I'll see you in a bit?" Draco asked leaning against the door frame that led to the girls dormitory.

You poked him in the middle of the chest with your wand and stood on your toes. Your lips parted just slightly so you can get a whisper out.

"Do anything besides the plan and Ill turn you in to a ferret again."

You could tell there was a small smile forming upon his lips but he shifted his gaze from you and back up to the dark staircase.

"Would rather go in your clothes than Goyle's." Draco teased recalling Mad-Eyes unusual punishment back in third year. He takes a step up so he was now at least a foot taller than you.

"See you in a bit."

You gave him a small half grin and tiptoed up the steps to the dorms. Pansy and some of the new first years were sitting down in the room you shared. She was telling them about the expectations of a Slytherin and the standards they're held too. It was a conversation that you, Daphne and her always had with the new comers from second year forward. Mostly because you all enjoy tormenting the younger kids, making sure they understood the social science behind Slytherin house.

"Ah there she is, heres one of our most powerful witches." Pansy grinned pointing to you.

"That's a big accusation Pansy." You chuckled taking a seat on the edge of the stiff emerald color chair.

"You three are all descendants of the great twenty eight!" A young blonde girl gasped when she saw you Daphne and Pansy all seated together.

Your friends beamed holding their chins high. You on the other hand were focused on the girl before you. She had tight ringlets covering most of her face and her bright eyes studied the three of you intently. Instead of the usual disgust you got from first years you almost felt bad for the girl, so eager to be at Hogwarts and get to share a house with some famous pure blood defendants. And you knew that the light in her eyes would soon leave just like yours did.

"Yes we are." Daphne smiled flipping her hair off her shoulder to show more of her face.

The young girls murmured amongst themselves as if they were meeting Lockhart or some other celebrity. It made sense however, that they would admired you three, most people who supported Voldemort's pure blood ideology wished to be part of the sacred twenty eight. The original pure blood families, usually those closet to Voldemort if you cut out the few PM supporters like the Weasleys or Longbottoms. The kids in front of you were raised much like you, with a crippling superiority complex and a deep sense of anxiety about failure. You felt bleak staring out at the future deatheaters before you. You wished someone would have told you when you were young that you could become more than just another evil Slytherin.
